This is our second time checking-in & out of The Fountain Athens. Cute boutique hotel: clean, helpful and friendly staff, great AC, and very centrally located to dining, as well as close proximity to many high-demand sites, like the Acropolis (short walk).

The breakfast room was the best feature of this hotel. There were made to order omelets, delicious muffins and baklava, as well as yogurt and cereals. Our room was a bit too concrete for me but the bed was very comfortable. The people on the street from the bar across the street were particularly loud on the weekend. Perfect location though. I would stay there again.

The hotel is clean and close to the main area which we wanted. It was a 3-4 min walk from the train station and easy to find. We stayed one night and it suited us perfectly. The only concern I had was the noise from the bars next door. You could hear the loud notice late at night. However; it wasn’t bad enough to keep me awake all night. Breakfast was also good. I didn’t see you could get eggs made until after I ate. I would stay again.

Great small hotel in perfect location. 2 minute walk to Monasteraki Square. Stayed in the deluxe suite, which was very nice. It’s two stories so there’s some stairs, but has a full kitchen, two TVs and two A/C’s. Would be a two million dollar loft in SoHo. Crystal who manages the front desk is awesome and knows more than most guides. I highly recommend this hotel.
