"Nice Resort on the Water"
This resort was nice looking, and very big. The breakfast buffet was very large, with a lot to choose from. The rooms were good sized and clean. We had a nice view on our balcony of the water and we got to wake up to a beautiful sunrise. The staff was fine, I liked front desk the best. The showers were the only complaint I had because it was very difficult to make the shower head stay in the holder. Otherwise, this was a nice hotel and I would definitely stay here again if I return to Athens. Note: This hotel is close to the airport, however taxis at Athens airport have a flat rate of 38 euro whether your hotel is in the city center, or on the water.

"Nice hotel on outskirts of Athens"
Beautiful views of the sea and large beautiful room. Corridors have a moldy odor. 40 mins drive from central Athens. Probably the nicest hotel on Athens. Food is expensive but I would highly recommend the Nobu restaurant.

"Central Location with amazing views."
This hotel exceeded expectations. Before arriving we arranged for a separate bed to be placed in our room for our daughter, the room was ready and beautifully set up for our arrival. The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to everything. The staff is amazing adding personal touches to everything they do. This is one of the best hotel experiences we have had. The rooms were roomy, the added personal touches to everything and they clearly pay attention to detail. The breakfast buffet is worth checking out.

"The best food and the best staff ever"
We had a lovely holiday thanks to the wonderful staff at the hotel and especially in the Olympia restaurant. They have all gone over and beyond their way to make our stay pleasant, in such a nice and friendly manner. The food is the best we have ever tasted in any restaurant before! Therefore, all the stars go to the chefs and the staff for their service and kindness, and for the amazing food. Facilities need some updating, and should look much better for a 4 star hotel.

"Good hotel on sea front."
Well recommended hotel on sea front. Clean, we'll run and good breakfasts. Didn't have any other meals, so can't comment, but the menu was inviting. Close to tavernas on beach if you want a change. Lovely roof bar with amazing view. Sadly bedrooms a little small, but adequate for two nights. Will return

"Excellent Value for Money"
It's rare for me to write a review -- but I wanted to stay how much I appreciated my experience at the Hermes. The hotel is excellent value for money. It's very simple and comfortable while still being reasonably price. It was just what I hoped it would be. It has an excellent location, just a five-minute walk from Syntagma Square and the metro and bus direct to the airport. The public area in the lobby is quite large and very nicely maintained; the staff at reception and in the breakfast room were, without exception, helpful and friendly. The room was small but quiet, scrupulously clean, and very well maintained -- with excellent air conditioning. Breakfast had a good selection of traditional Greek and Continental food. Of course, as a two-star hotel, there are a few limitations, but none made the stay any less enjoyable: one morning, the breakfast room was quiet crowded; the other two mornings, we had the place to ourselves; there wasn't an armchair in the room, but there was a desk chair; Internet service did "dip in and out"; and the roof garden was quiet small with a limited view. There's one additional comment: I noticed an announcement in the elevator to "have a drink the Hotel Plaka", a "sister hotel" a few minutes walk away. I'd rarely think of dropping into another hotel for a drink, but I did this time. Believe me, you must go! The hotel is only a few minute's walk, and the roof deck has an extraordinary view of the Acropolis, especially in late afternoon.

"Communal areas good, location good; close to trams"
Noisy hotel room whether it's from the crazy traffic outside or when the function room was in use on the ground floor; the noise travelled through the ducting in the walls...we could hear every word two floors up! Breakfast provided a good variety, no complaints. Staff were helpful and friendly. Communal areas were well maintained and clean, although there was green algae on the edges of the pool. Room cleanliness was poor. Carpet old and stained, upholstery had seen better days and was stained. Beds were basic with noisy metal framework. Ceiling in shower room was stained and mouldy. Toilet seat was cracked. No kettle!
