Plenty of excursions are on offer, so though we used the hotel as a transit for one night, I will consider it as a destination in itself next time. Finally, the restaurant. Another WOW!!! We stayed in for dinner as we arrived late and had an early start. The view of the Nile and over the boat ‘harbour’ ferrying groups coming to visit the village was vibrant and fun. And the food…superb! Though we ate well our whole time in Egypt, this proved to be our best meal (you don’t have to stay to eat there by the way, so stop by!!). Cooked from fresh and sooo tasty!! They arranged an airport transfer for the morning which was no hassle, providing a packed breakfast. All in all, a true gem in location, comfort, service, good, basically everything. I’d strongly suggest adding it to your itinerary if you’re in Aswan, I wish we could have stayed longer."
