This inn is small, lovely and pretty isolated in the woods. It is very clean. It is very much no fuss. Do pay attention to the distance from Ashland; it's a 30 minute twisty drive from Ashland, but it's gorgeous. 10/10 would stay here again.

We've been coming here for several years and have stayed in all the cabins. It's our special place close to home that we come to completely relax ,unwind, connect, and recharge. The beautiful cabins with big windows looking out to the beautiful forest. Some of our favorite things are the wonderful big soaking tubs out on the deck, the great showers, the big comfy beds with amazing linens, barbecuing on the deck, beautiful stars at night, snow walks, walking on trails, sitting in front of the wood burning stove, eating in the restaurant( check hours as it changes with seasons) . This last visit we stayed in Boccard. You have done amazing in decorating it and the changes. It's beautiful. We did miss a couple things in that cabin. The comfort of the furniture . It's absolutely gorgeous but We missed a comfy couch or chair to nap in or watch a movie in.We've enjoyed putting our feet on the ottoman in the different cabins we have stayed in. It was our first time having a hard time in a bed there. The bed in Boccard was so very hard to us. Maybe we are getting old. Ha ha.Every staff we have ever encountered has been so kind and friendly. We deeply appreciate that. Thank you for working so hard to keep it such a special place. We will definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved staying here with my wife, and will definitely be back! My only complaint was that it was hard for me to find how to allow airflow into the fireplace. Obviously this was due to my poor observation, and I eventually found it. But it’d be great if there was just a simple instructions sheet showing how to work the fireplace for dummies!

The cabin was remote and clean. We appreciated that it was dog friendly, but be aware that dogs are not supposed to be on the furniture. The outdoor hot tub was lovely and overlooked the forest.We also loved the wood fire stove and supply of fresh cut wood. The only downside was that the jets for the hot tub in the Pilot Rock cabin did not function. It was a scenic twenty minute drive through the mountains to Ashland where you can find several cute shops and restaurants. The cabin was also within a short drive of several hikes. We would absolutely come here again!

My mistake
Proud owner of a small parcel not far from GS, I needed a place to stay while I talked with developers, solar providers, and the like. The people at GS are determined to make you comfortable and they succeeded with me. I had messed up some of the booking; the people in the cafe sat me down with large cup of fresh hot coffee while the mess I'd made was straightened out...the only regret was that I still had half-a-cup of great coffee when I was shown to my room. And the room was so lovely, the bed so comfortable, and everything so fresh and clean that I can't remember a more peaceful and satisfying night.

A miserable experience
We arrived about 7 pm after a 17 mile drive (10 miles of it on a very winding road) to find the office locked up and the promised (by management) restaurant closed and no instructions on how to access our reserved room. When we called the "if you need help" phone number posted on the office door, we received a recording asking for our number and promising to return the call within 24 hours! Talking with others, we learned this is a common occurrence. We finally called another number listed in our e-mail correspondence and got instructions on how to get into our room, where we had a dinner of crackers and pistachios from our car. A miserable experience we will not ever repeat there.

Disappointed restaurant was not open as advertised. WIFI did not work so I had to leave early to find one that did so I could send a document. But the worst was the coffee pot had not been cleaned and grounds from a previous guest were still in the pot.

Clean facility, very nice jacuzzi tub. The WiFi was down on this particular day, but the manager and staff offered us a TV and bluray player to accommodate (we declined), they also extended our check out time two hours. Very nice staff, we would stay again. Note: the lodge is currently closed, bring snacks!

We stayed in a cabin. It was magical, clean and comfortable. We arrived at night and it felt remote and secluded. The cabin was warm and welcoming. These folks pay attention to details. Kitchen had olive oil, salt pepper, honey, coffee, hot coco.

Had a wonderful stay. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, which meant we had to travel for food. The cabin had a great kitchen! My suggestion, bring food and cook in-house. Lots of outdoors to explore, deck space to relax on, pet friendliness and the covered, outdoor jacuzzi tub have us hooked. We will return!

I had a comfortable stay at Green Springs. It was easy to find, great bbq restaurant attached, sauna set-up that was relaxing and very comfy bed. Thank you!
