The “Stora älg” vacation home at
offers approximately 120 m² of living space, providing plenty of room for up to 8 people. The house is very modern and built and equipped to the highest standards (central ventilation system with filter technology, fuel-fired heating, EIB/KNX, etc.).

Layout/Amenities:
The upper floor features four bedrooms (3 double bedrooms + 1 single bedroom (+travel or baby bed)), a bathroom, and a hallway. The modern living/dining area, kitchen (with a very high-quality built-in kitchen), hallway, entryway to the sauna with a washer and dryer, the exclusive aspen wood sauna including a separate shower area, as well as a restroom and utility room are located on the first floor.

Outdoor area:
Outside, the approximately 40 m² terrace with a lake view, guaranteed sunshine, and lounge furniture invites you to relax. Thanks to the included mosquito trap (Mosquito Magnet by Pioneer), most of the bothersome black flies (“knott”) and mosquitoes on the entire property (up to approx. 4,000 square meters) are captured. A wallbox for electric vehicles is available.

Location:
The vacation home is only about 20 meters from Lake Älgsjön. It’s a true paradise for anglers, as the lake is highly sought after for pike and perch. Since the lake usually freezes over completely in winter, ice fishing and ice skating are also possible here. There are also 3 ski resorts in the area (only about 25–71 km away).
The Glaskogen Nature Reserve borders the property directly and, with its approximately 350 kilometers of hiking trails, offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature and absolute tranquility. It’s also a true paradise for bike enthusiasts! The town of Arvika (approx. 15 TE residents) is located 25 km away.
The nearest supermarket and gas station are just 9 km away. Oslo Airport is approximately 150 km away (about a 2-hour drive to the house by rental car)

Optionally available:
Book our Bombard Commander C4 inflatable boat (15 PS) or the Linder Sportsman 445 Basic aluminum boat (15 PS) (each includes gas) as an add-on. We’re happy to provide high-quality towels and exclusive bedding as an optional add-on at a flat rate per guest. To explore the surrounding area, 2 “Delite” e-bikes from Riese & Müller and 2 ATVs (Segway Snarler 600 GS-N with 45 PS) are also available as optional extras. You can also optionally book the separate 28-square-meter sauna building (for up to 14 people) and ice fishing sets (for 2 or 3 people). We provide high-quality bed linens and towels for a fixed flat rate per guest (20.00 euros). We’d be happy to help you organize guided tours (e.g., moose tour, Northern Lights, etc.) or a scenic flight over Arvika.

Included in the price:
Final cleaning is offered at a fixed rate. Electricity, water, use of the sauna, and internet (via fiber-optic) are included in the rental price. We always restock dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, dishwasher tablets, dishwasher salt, laundry detergent, fabric softener, toilet paper, etc. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed, as the houses are also rented to people with allergies.
