"The location of this lodge is amazing, offering a serene setting to enjoy the wildlife of Tanzania when not on safari. The lodge sits on the edge of a marsh and gave us multiple terrace options (including a private one attached to our room) to do some bird watching. While there , we saw the African fish eagle and Black-and-white cascade hornbill, songbirds too many to count, along with some visiting Vervet monkeys. The staff were among the most attentive and friendly that we have experienced and our room (the Simba house) was everything we could hope for. We highly recommend it if you’re looking for a quieter place to relax. "

The infinity pool is spectacular, perfectly integrated into the surroundings and ideal for relaxing after a day of adventures. The gardens are lush, impeccably maintained, and simply beautiful, creating a peaceful oasis that makes you forget the outside world. But what truly made our experience extraordinary was the exceptional level of personalized service, especially from Daniel Ramos, Guest Experience Manager. His dedication went far beyond what anyone could expect. When I lost a personal object that seemed almost impossible to recover, Daniel did not stop until he found it. His effort, persistence, and genuine care turned a stressful situation into a story with a perfect ending. This level of attention and humanity is rare to find and made us feel truly valued as guests. Gran Meliá Arusha is not just a luxury hotel with stunning facilities—it is a place where people truly make the difference.
