"Great location for the event we were attending. Nice sandwich shop called Manhattan Cafe just around the corner and several other places all within walking distance. Kitchen had the bare minimum of equipment and could use some more pans for cooking, an oven-mitt would have been nice and more utensils. The parking situation is great there!! Rooms were nice. Could use a basic chest of drawers in the smaller room as there was no place to store your clothes once there. "

"The rooms carpet needs to be shampooed consistently! I was told Tempo by Hilton didn’t allow pets, but clearly I was followed by one whose owner was reckless and wasn’t holding its leash! The front desk staff that checked me in was pleasant and explained that I have allergies to pet dandruff. She chose lie instead and say Tempo doesn’t allow them. The rooftop bar is TOP NOTCH!! Just need more servers on the weekend."

"The breakfast options were good, though the two days we stayed, the options were the same (unlike other reviews). This was not an issue as there were plenty of options for variety. It should be made more clear that the parking is in the garage attached to the hotel and is not included. The fee is relatively substantial at $22/night. However, despite rain, we are completely undercover from our room to our car. The garage is also used for events, but there are parking places reserved for hotel guests even during the busiest events.One other thing that isn't obvious is to get into the garage you need to scan your key, not at the place where it says to scan your pass, but after that where it is marked "room key". You think that is obvious now... but first timers are likely to press the wrong button! The room was very clean and the A/C worked, but was a bit muggy. The bathroom mirror fogged up during a brief shower and did not clear until the door was opened. The bathroom is spotless but the toilet paper was just barely within reach. The valve for the faucet is at the opposite end of the shower. It was different, but there was no problem with this arrangement. As others have said, the lights around the mirror leave a bit to be desired. It was fine, the other room has other mirrors. Despite these oddities, the hotel was outstanding overall and we would definitely return if we come to downtown Raleigh again."

"Good Day Henry: I trust all is well. When you get a moment, please give me a call as I want to discuss your locate you rent out me as I want to express the unpleasant experience which led me to move from the location on this morning.Now keep me in mind this was a first experience as I did this in celebration of my birthday which I left TX to come to NC for this experience (of the history of Raleigh) and was disappointed for the following reason:- seem unkept (not well maintained)- bedding unclean- pictures were not a clear representation - I felt unsafe- Bathroom did not have a soak caddy- No trash can in the kitchen - No trash bags in the bathroom - The blinds were difficult to pull down to the bottom and also they were worn blinds on at least 2 of them- The remote controls for the TV in bedroom did not come on.- Did not find any remote for living room TV, don’t know where this device could have been- The bathroom sink was clogged as when I brush my teeth it have a very slow drain- Lightening was deem- Suggestion on this one: have a small night stand lamp- When I woke up this morning, I was unaware my stay would be under construction as the loud noise alone was enough to pack my pack my bags to leave- Last but not least, I made other accommodations which is unfortunate as I knew I would be unable to stay any more nights there. So it truly was an overnight stay as it was too late to leave the place. "
