"This was the second time we've stayed here. Comfortable bed and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast is amazing. The lodge has a warm, retro feel. Will definitely stay again."

"Room was clean however we found smsll bugs twice. The shower takes getting use too and water temperature was hatd to control. The staff and atmosphere was fantastic Live music and cocktails were wonderful. "

"This experience was a nightmare. We booked 4 rooms on New Years Eve including the penthouse. When we arrived we were told the penthouse was no longer available (we had the reservations for 3 months). They said they couldn’t help us but could refund us… on New Years Eve after traveling from different states and cities. The whole town was booked. They finally gave us rooms but of course our whole plans were ruined as we booked THE PENTHOUSE for a reason. The rooms were dated and subpar. This hotel is NOT associated with La Fonda in Santa Fe so hopefully you don’t get duped like we did. I wish there was a negative star review. "

"The lodge has been refurbished recently, and the still large rooms are comfortable, with great hot water and pressure and plenty of it. The bathrooms could still use a bit of work (grout work and lighting), though. Soft beds, good linens. No coffee in the rooms but lodge guests get a discount at the new coffee bar. We didn't use the new bar, but happy hour specials are promoted."

"There was no hot water for showers. No charging ports by bedsie table. The pillows were horrible. The pillows were too small and when i requested .ore at front desk they had none. "
