"The shower was odd. There is no shower door so we had to put towels down so the floor didnt get soaked. Also, we couldn't use half of our outlets. If you plugged anything in, they would pop and spark. Breakfast was from 7-10 and when we went down at 830 they only had limited items everything else was gone. Granted they were hosting the ms Illinois pageant but you'd think that would have been taken into consideration. The staff was nice. Pleasant to talk to and offered to switch our room, but honestly I probably wont stay here again. The reason we chose this hotel was for the hot tub, and while we recognize you cant have it to yourself, it was a free-for-all for the kids. Saturday night at 10:30 pm and there were 9 kids under the age of 8 in the hot tub. I seen quite a few adults turn around and leave."

"Booking a (by review) very nice Hyatt, sight unseen and arriving late evening, I was unpleasant surprised to learn the parking is not at the property, but is a shared lot with the local Amtrack station. It was only a couple of blocks to walk, but because we were also traveling with a large UHaul, we had to park that vehicle a mile away at a local park. They staff were very helpful in giving instructions, etc., but I did expect more and am more disappointed with hotels.com that this distinguishing factor was not quickly apparent when booking online using their app. This feels like something a human could correct instead of letting a computer "take care of everything.""

"Very poorly maintained weeds knee high or higher everywhere the floor in the pool area is busted and sticking up my daughter tripped over it also the rooms were in terible shape i have pictures there was pubic hair in yhe beds beer bottle caps on the floor in the second room they gave us if i could have afforded a differnt hotel i would have left at checkin i witnessed 2 other familys leave at check in terrible hotel shouldnt be on hotels.com i would like my money back their contential breakfast included toast lil cups of yougirt and no juice the second day the first day they had an open bottle of great value apple juice sitting out didnt refill anything but the cerial they offered witch no doubt was stale dont waist your money they wont refund it im sure"

"Our room was very clean, had a very comfortable bed, TV,a/c, microwave & frig all worked great! Breakfast was excellent. We will probably stay here again when in the area. Hotel overall was excellent for the price, even though there some renovations in progress! Highly recommend,"

"My room was disgustingly dirty. The shower stall was awful. black mold, floor [peeling and discolored. The toilet seat had weird stains on it. The scent of Lysol was so powerful I wondered what they were trying to cover up. The windowsill was dirty and the window was smeared with fingerprints. The floor in the room was stick and sandy, I couldn't walk barefoot. No trash can in the bathroom. No hair dryer available. the smoke alarm was hanging by the wires, don't know if it worked or not. I don't normally complain about things, but this room was extreme in my opinion. I took several pictures on my phone, but i don't know how to add them."
