NOT... the lake is an easy 9 min. walk away. 3) Just strictly a FYI; the coffee maker takes bulk coffee with the cone style filters. The location was perfect for our outdoor adventures, with Big Trees just a short drive away and the lake offering opportunities for fishing and sunbathing on the beach. After a delicious dinner in quintessential downtown Murphys, we enjoyed unwinding with a scary movie in the cozy living room before retiring to the super comfy beds for a restful night's sleep. Overall, our stay at this cabin was memorable and enjoyable, providing the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. The listing doesn’t mention that it has AC but fortunately it does - it was our first time in Arnold and we were surprised how hot it was considering it’s at 5K elevation. The lake is close - less than a mile drive/walk but the house is not on the lake as shown on the listing map. Nice house, great kitchen and patio space. Nice mattress in master and pretty comfy living room couch as well. Only issue was that there really is no yard space for kids.
