We chose this location to explore both sides of the island and it's blue zone. The hotel had great breakfast options including coffee or ikarian tea, with seating overlooking the water on the balcony. Large rooms and we paid for a sea view which was beautiful to wake up to. Hotel also had pool and games room. Also within walking distance to a grocery store and a few great restaurants. Would recommend!" Host very informative during our stay. Our third night was comfortable sleeping but earlier sleeping was difficult without air conditioning as advertised. Too hot. We were travelling between the Aegean islands and therefore relying on using the washing machine but despite being advertised there is no machine. Martine did offer to wash our clothes but I’d prefer to wash my own. There was no microwave as advertised. No essentials provided on arrival. We stayed out from morning until late evening so didn’t use the electric oven. You need to switch the control on in the consumer unit we discovered on departure. Nice little restaurants in the port and village. Walking is doable, but it's a very steep hike from village to the hotel."
