The room was lovely and spacious and thoughtfully designed, the bed was extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made guests feel welcomed in the restaurant. We enjoyed the spa, which had a nice variety of experiences to relax and unwind, with lovely views from the outdoor sauna.

Staff were very friendly. Restaurant and bar are great; all the food was delicious and the view of the Loch is excellent. I didn’t book a massage but the rest of the spa was very relaxing. Sitting in the outdoor hot tub looking at the water is a perfect setting.

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful views and super clean and comfortable rooms/bathrooms. The pool/sauna areas were perfect to relax after a day of exploring the outside. 10 min walk into Inveraray centre to visit other restaurants pubs. The staff was superb, especially our housekeeper Josie who made us feel right at home and all the breakfast staff who catered for our requirements perfectly. My only complaints were the fact that you had to book a breakfast time (if you arrive late you'll have to book a late slot) and that the rooms were incredibly warm. We remedied this by opening a window, but our room backed onto a generator/engine of some sorts, so there was a fairly noisy hum all night. Luckily I brought earplugs so that helped.

Perfect stay
A fabulous hotel, Service was first class and the whole team went the extra mile, the hotel is comfortable and really welcoming, food was first class and the location ideal. Everything was spot on thanks to Nail and the lovely staff who really made a difference.

I only regret we stayed one night! Very nice hotel in Inveraray. Definitely would have loved to use the spa. The bar and restaurant was great and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Had a fantastic time, this was a treat to ourselves. The room was lovely, thoughtful decor, we'd asked for a change to the duvet before we'd arrive, it was! The dining room was nice space. The lounge at bar,was so comfortable & chilled. The spa with all it's features was amazing, had massages again fab. All the staff were warm, friendly and professional. The service was the best we've had.We felt like a million dollars.

The hotel has a great location on the side of the loch with great views. The fires in the public rooms were so welcoming. We took our spaniel Archie and he couldn't have been made more welcome. It was a great overnight stay and I highly recommend it.

They still know how to bill....at least.
We booked mainly to get the culinary experience in a relaxing spa setting. Whilst the latter lived up to expectation, what seems simple to deliver by way of the former appears to elude. The best the restaurant could muster was scampi and chips. No Scottish sourced marine fayre on the menu. Even a medium rare steak was delivered to the table "bien cuit". At least they did the honourable thing with that.

Very picturesque hotel. Spa treatments are well worth trying and the pool, hot tub and sauna are a must. Breakfast was good with hot meals arriving straight from the kitchen and dinner the first night was stunning. The hotel and Spa were at the higher end of our budget but we'll worth it for a special occasion.

Lovely hotel stay & location with the dog
Lovely hotel right on the Loch. Great location for exploring & coming back to relax in the spa. The staff were all very lovely and polite, but across the board there was a lack of communication throughout our stay, we weren’t sure about times of eating, location for the dogs, spa times etc and there is no signage in the hotel to aid this. There seemed to be a strict policy in booking your breakfast and evening times when you check in, by the end of the week we had to change these as planned activity. We were encouraged to use the hotel own app prior to arriving, this was a waste of time as nothing was communicated onwards. None of this spoilt our enjoyment at all. It is a beautiful place to stay, staff were all friendly, would highly recommend but be prepared to ask a lot of questions.
