The Space:

Welcome to your new-build apartment in Kvíggjartún, thoughtfully designed for a comfortable and easy stay.

The apartment features a bright living area with comfortable seating and a TV—ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the Faroes. The open-plan layout connects the lounge to a modern dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, making it easy to cook at home.

Kitchen amenities include a refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and coffee maker (plus essential cookware and tableware), so you can prepare everything from quick breakfasts to full dinners.

The bedroom(s) are designed for rest and comfort with quality bedding, heating, and clothing storage. The bathroom is modern and fresh, with a shower and essential amenities for a smooth stay.

Large windows bring in plenty of natural light, and the apartment’s new construction provides great insulation and a quiet indoor atmosphere—perfect for unwinding.

Argir is one of the most convenient and pleasant areas to stay near Tórshavn—peaceful, residential, and close to both nature and city life. From Kvíggjartún, you’re a short drive (or walk, depending on your pace) to the centre of Tórshavn, where you’ll find cafés, restaurants, museums, and shopping.

Argir is also well placed for exploring the islands: you can quickly head out of town for scenic drives, coastal viewpoints, hiking routes, and unforgettable day trips. For guests who enjoy walks, the coastline nearby offers fresh sea air and beautiful views—especially in the evenings.



Getting Around:

Getting around is easy from this location.

• Parking: Available nearby/on-site (edit to match your setup).

• Public transport: Local bus routes connect Argir with Tórshavn and surrounding areas.

• Recommended: Renting a car is the easiest way to explore the Faroe Islands at your own pace, especially for sightseeing and hikes outside the city. You can also book a guided tour, and the guide will pick you up from your location.

• Airport: Vágar Airport (FAE) is approximately 45 minutes by car, depending on traffic and conditions. Here you can either take a bus to Tórshavn, rent a taxi or you can take a shuttle taxi (Shared taxi).



Other Things to Note:

Please note that the apartment is non-smoking and pets are not allowed. Bed linen and towels are included for your comfort. A key box makes check-in easy and flexible – you will receive the code one day before arrival. Free parking is available at the building. We kindly ask guests to respect the home and the quiet neighborhood, so everyone can enjoy their stay.

Would you like to arrive a bit earlier or leave a little later? We provide both early check-in and late check-out for an additional fee. Please reach out in advance to confirm availability.

It is also possible to order a baby cot and a high chair for an additional fee.
