"We were very disappointed with the accommodation.it was very basic with rust and mildew around the shower and on the soap tray in the shower. Kitchen was basic and it seemed most things like the kettle were old and needed replacing. Beds quite uncomfortable and bedding well used. There was mildew on one mattress cover on part tucked under the bed. The towels were very thin and hard with big stains on some of them. "We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. There are pubs but no customers, that we saw. Im assuming summertime is the busy season. The...

"The bungalow was immaculate with lots of skylights and windows. Very nice views of the garden thru the big back windows. Very short walk to Lismore’s Main Street, the castle and the river. All the comforts of home inside with tasteful decor. It was a perfect stay. I’ll be back!"

"Charming cottage in beautiful bucolic setting, but more isolated than I anticipated. Thought Youghal would be within walking distance, but due to coastline it was a 13-minute drive. Also, while there were walking routes outlined in owners' material, it felt unsafe to walk on the narrow roads. Chalk that up to rural Ireland I guess, but we as tourists felt we couldn't take advantage of the surrounding beauty on foot.Rules felt restrictive: bring slippers & do not walk on the floors without them, do not cook anything greasy, keep pans covered when you cook, and only eat the table - protect the wood! Brighty the caretaker was cheerful and helpful.Highlight of the stay was when the farmer up the road moved his herd of magnificent cattle down to the field directly across the road. Only stayed a couple of days as part of a broader tour through Ireland."

"This place is a hidden gem, I really enjoyed this little family getaway. Each yurt has a stove, a campfire come bbq outside our yurt. Your own parking space. Your own bathroom. A communal shower and a communal kitchen with your own press equipped with all you need for cooking and dining. And your own space in the communal frigde. The beach is a 15 minute walk. A shop and pub close by too. And fota wildlife is a 25 min drive. Lots of things to do around the site for kids too. There's animals on site, you can even bring your own pet. Lots and lots of plants, you will really feel at one with nature here. A dream. I think it would be a lovely place to get married. "
