It was very easy to drive to downtown for shopping and food, however, if you are planning to take an Uber, it is challenging to get someone to pick up at this location. The house was very nice and had all cooking items you might need. The front porch and back deck had plenty of seats to enjoy the outdoors. The neighbor's dog would frequently come by (which was fine with us), but if you're not a dog lover, just be aware. Lots of wildlife nearby and the house was generally clean -- some minor things were not as clean, but nothing terrible. Check in and check out was very easy. This house is 1 mile from the airport but plane noise wasn't bad. There are grocery stores, restaurants, and other stores very near by. It is certainly close enough to downtown but the drive does get old if you are wanting to spend all your time in Asheville itself. But for ubering from the airport- this location could not be beat! The house was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We had to reach out to the property manager a couple of times and she was very responsive. The house has everything you could want in a rental. The location is centrally located to Asheville, the Biltmore, hiking, waterfalls and scenic drives. It is near the airport but the planes didnt bother is in any way. The home was nice and clean, with the exception of the oven and grill, which were pretty gross. Most of the non-stick cookware is badly chipping. We had purchased groceries that ended up being a waste because we were icked out to use the grill (even after my husband spent quite a long time cleaning).We also found the home too cold. We had to regularly adjust the thermostat because it kept reverting back to the programmed temp.Other than those issues, the home was well appointed and in a quiet area.
