We enjoyed our stay at Ickale Hotel. The stuff is very nice and helpful. Miraç and girls at the reception help us a lot during our stay. The breakfast is very nice. I love the atmosphere in this place and very beautiful antique style of the hotel . We have experience with other hotels in Ankara because we have to stay for almost 3 weeks for a visa purpose. We decided to extend our stay at this hotel. This hotel is located close to the public transportation. I would highly recommend the Ickale hotel for everyone. The price for what you get is very nice compared to other hotels in the area. I would definitely come back to Ickale Hotel again. Thank you for nice experience!

We enjoyed our stay at the Ickale Hotel. We have to spend a lot of time in Ankara for a visa purpose. We decided to extend our stay and stay at this place. We love the breakfast here compared to the other place that we stayed before. The hotel is beautiful. We like the decorations and the antique style of this hotel. The personnel is friendly and helpful. If we ever come back again to Ankara, we would definitely stay at Ickale hotel again. We highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is the best place you can stay in Ankara! Hotel Ickale’s staff makes you feel the hotel is your home away from home! Wonderful staff! Mirac and Dogus are just incredible! Fabulous place!

Overall this is a great hotel for the money you pay. Downside is that most of the rooms face the adjacent block and there is no view. There are no bathrobes in the rooms and the towels are too small after a shower. Also, there are no international channels on cable tv. For a 5 star hotel catering to an international client base, it should be fixed.

This is the best hotel in town. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Ankara. Mirac Hanim was a fabulous host and she guided us to see things in town. Wonderful service and hospitality! Thank you so very much!

I liked this charming, old hotel. Although it is located on a very busy street in a not great neighborhood I was able to rest and enjoy my stay in my roomy, comfortable room. It had little nuances which I liked for instance, the shower has a raised edge which prevents water from going on to the bathroom floor. I especially appreciated that the staff adhered to the Do Not Disturb sign on my door and left me alone for my 2 night stay so I could catch up on my severe lack of sleep. I would have liked to use the spa/pool/tiny gym more but it didn’t open until 11am and closed at 10pm.

We stayed at hotel Ickale for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay . We were able to plan our trip and Serken was very helpful throughout. The room was good size and had double balcony and jacuzzi. The staffs were friendly The only minor Critisism would be the room safe was not working and at breakfast they weren’t able to provide hot milk Overall had a pleasant stay

Beautiful hotel, 30 years old but designed to look antique. Stunning lobby, amazing service. Definitely would stay here again. Mini bar lacks wine and spirits, but there is a bar, possibly accessed via room service. Breakfast was adequate, but breakfast room is beautiful. Lovely quiet neighborhood, subway within 5 minutes walking distance. Couldn't find a breakfast cafe open by the time I reached the subway entrance, so I looked further afield. Nevertheless, the room was beautiful and comfortable, with great view of Atatürk's mausoleum. Would much rather stay in a hotel with character than something too standard, modern, and expensive. All the hotel staff were amazingly helpful and kind, especially all the bellboys and the front desk staff, including Sarp.

At first the service was alright. But after two days, the hotel started a noisy construction, the heating was being shut down frequently, the traditional bath and also the pool got closed.

Team Phillips Trip to Ankara
Hotel was excellant. Clean tidy modern. Lovely room with clean spacious bathroom. We were on 7th floor and wifi bit slow that high, but took nothing away from the overall experiance. Price was superb, and great value.

A beautiful hotel. The traditional decor makes one relax immediately. I loved the ambience. Christmas tree. My only critisisms would be... No bath tub although room description (superior double) said there was. No bathrobes although pictures showed them hanging in bathroom. No teaspoons on kettle tray.... I loved the hotel. I will be back!

Great service for stroke patient!
We are coming from Pamukkale & we are arriving at night. The hotel service from parking attendant, door man & front desk are excellent. My husband and I are enjoying the hotel facilities from hamam, massage, sauna & hotel lounge. We are satisfied with our stay and we extended for 4 days more. Great facility for the handicap like me with a great value! Highly recommended

Its terrible place! We reserved two nights because we was from long way and was need come at early morning, so we reserves 2 nights that can come in hotel and go rest without waiting when room will be ready. We pay for 2 nights 11-13 May and come 12 May at 9.00am, at this moment room was not ready and i was need wait 2 hours after 3 days in bus trip! When my room was must be ready one day before!

Staff are great. The doormen are always willing and eager to help. Breakfast is good although their coffee machine needs replacing. I have stayed here a number of times now and I'm happy to stay again. As a matter of fact I'm staying in the hotel again while I write this review for the last journey. Convenient location and parking is provided by the doorman. I like it.

Well, the room had old furniture, bed wasn't comfortable, cleanness not that great, you don't feel at home. The regular taxi driver of the hotel, first time I hired him didn't put the meter on and had an argument. Overall, not really nice place to stay in
