We had an amazing time at this house! It came with amazing views and so many utilities that we used! We also went sledding and it was so much fun! Definitely recommend to anyone looking at this property!
Very spacious house, everything that was listed was as is. It was our Spring Break trip including 6 Adults 3 kids and 1 dog. Everyone had their own space and to top it all off Steve was phenomenal. We had a small water leak at the beginning of our trip but he was able to send someone over within the hour to get it fixed up. The location of this house was great, close to town/ ski resort. Definitely will be back for next spring break!
We had a lovely time at Moonlight Pines. Roomy enough for all and quite comfortable! Game room was a huge plus for us and we spent a lot of time congregating there.
The unit was clean but could have used a few extra trash bags and rolls of TP. We are already considering another stay over the summer!
Mr Alschuler was quick to respond to any questions and was a very effective communicator!
The cabin was beautiful! Only thing I would have changed is to be able to set the temp to at least 76, but I'm always cold. We had so much fun that we didn't want to say goodbye to the cabin. 10 out of 10 would recommend and do again!
We stayed in the fall, when the aspens were turning yellow and dropping their leaves. The weather was in the sixties during the day and 10-20 degrees cooler at night. The house is far enough away from town that you feel deep in the wilderness, but close enough that a trip back to the store for something you forgot isn’t any big deal.
The view is awesome. The hummingbirds were fascinating. It was a great place for 5 couples. They loved it. There was a lack of cleaning and the dishwasher didnt work. Manager was very responsive. BR behind kitchen had broken bed slats. Plenty of parking, lots of deer and outdoor fire pit was nice. Despite the little things, I would stay again.
We love Angel Fire but this house was not the best we’ve stayed in. It was dirty and needed some TLC. The owner had salt licks everywhere on the property which drew the bears out. We had several aggressive bear encounters which was not good with small children and dogs. Our group did enjoy the game room and incredible views from our balcony.
Everything was great about this property. The one issue was the water heater. The water kept going cold on us and we would have to unplug it and then plug it back in. They did come out and check it but we still had issues through the week. Outside of this we had a great time.
The house is in a beautiful area. It was quiet and there was a park nearby and plenty of hiking trails. We had 9 adults and 5 children under 6 and there was plenty of room for everyone. We had deer by the house several times. We also had a bear come through. The host was very quick in answering questions and check in was easy. Unfortunately, the morning we were checking out the cleaning lady showed up at 8 am and tried to get us to leave early. She said that the company had booked someone to check in at 10 AM, which was our check out time, and that she needed to start cleaning early. Not sure I believed her, but regardless, we were not finished packing so we told her she would have to come back. Also, when we arrived the laundry room was filthy, there were bugs on the upper window seals and the chandeliers were covered in cobwebs. One of the basement bedrooms had the light fixture hanging with the electric wires exposed, and one of the living room door handles was loose. We fixed the door handle ourselves, as we did not want it to break, but we were not willing to work on their light fixtures. Also, the refrigerator seriously needs replaced. Other than that, it was a beautiful house and we enjoyed our stay.
