Angel Fire Chalet , “ Clean and comfortable , all the niceties of home”

Located in the Angel Fire resort close to the ski basin , golf course and within walking distance of Monte Verde lake. The house is easily accessible . The roads into the area are plowed frequently and we have our driveway plowed as well but being in the mountains at 8500 ft . always requires one to be prepared for the unexpected snowstorm.

The home has recent upgrades throughout and all the amenities necessary to make your stay as comfortable as possible.A new refrigerator and dishwasher and stand alone washer and dryer recently added . Two bedrooms with queen beds and one bedroom with two twins on first level .Loft with a new trundle day bed . While Barbecuing on the back deck keep an eye out for the wildlife that wander by from time to time or enjoy coffee on either the upper or lower front decks. The back deck is crafted from beautiful redwood recently added along with a couples swing in the back yard . Either way your sure to find yourself relaxed in this serene setting.

Main Heat source is a forced air gas central heating system. The living room has a fireplace , Switch ,located front right side inside the fireplace , turn on and the gas fireplace is on!

We have been visiting the area for several years and are never ceased to be amazed by its beauty and now the comfort and convenience of this home .Regardless of the season , each one has a way of adding to the charm of the area .

There are plenty of amenities throughout the home including high speed fiber optic cable , fully stocked kitchen with double oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker , utensils , dishware , blender , toaster and much more , towels, linens all provided to make your trip as care free as possible . No worries on cleaning or doing laundry upon departure we take care of that. All we ask is that you take the garbage to the local garbage disposal upon departure and return the key to the lockbox .

The recently remodeled kitchen includes plenty of cabinet space , fully stocked including dishes, plate ware , cooking and eating utensils , wine bottle opener , crockpot, blender and a JenAir cook top with a double oven if you planned on cooking. . If not there are plenty of places to eat in Angel Fire, Eagle Nest or Taos .

As you enter the home there is a place to kick off your boots and hang your jackets next to the fully equipped laundry room including washer, dryer and sink.

The main areas , living room and kitchen , are done in beautiful hardwood flooring. All three bathrooms each have ceiling heat lamps to keep you even warmer . In the loft we just added a trundle bed for extra sleeping space .

The loft is a great area for the kiddos to stream movies, watch DVD’s or play games , we have several DVD’s and board games to choose from.

What’s also great about this location is it’s close proximity to so many activities . There are seasonal sports offered at , within walking distance , Monte Verde lake such as paddle boating, canoeing and trout fishing. There’s the Lady Slipper hiking trail just down the road from the property . The Angel Fire Country Club offers a fitness center, indoor pool, tennis and beautiful Golf Course all open to the public . There are many other hiking trails , cross country skiing , sight seeing and fishing opportunities within a short drive .
