"We had a wonderful two weeks in January at SeaGlass Villa 1 on Andros Island! If you are looking for a quiet beachfront location you will love this. We enjoyed the ocean breezes flowing through the villa day and night. The bed was very comfortable and the villa had everything we needed. The shower had good pressure and quick hot water. We cooked at home all but 2 evenings when we went out to dinner. Restaurants are few and require pre-planning since they are not always open, but our host Zona was helpful with that. We explored Nicholls Town, Conch Sound and Morgan's Bluff on bike. We kayaked along the shore one day and also snorkeled from our beach, though there will be more to see if you go out to the reef. Zona took us on his boat for 1/2 day and we really enjoyed that. He was always available if we had questions or needed something, and as a lifelong resident he shared a lot of the history of Andros Island and the Bahamas with us. We ejoyed spending time with him.We had time to read books and spent time on the loungers just watching the turqoise ocean. The locals were friendly and we made friends quickly, but most of the time we just enjoyed the quiet time together. We were looking for a laid back island without big resorts, and this met our expectations. We look forward to returning to SeaGlass Villa 1 again!"

"We spent the first week of the New Year on Mangrove Cay at Scott’s house and had an incredible experience. The home is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped for island living. We were two couples, and although there’s one shared bathroom, the layout allows for plenty of privacy. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking, which mattered to us since we prefer making meals at home. The AC is ice cold, the beds are comfortable, and the sunrise views from the property are stunning. The private beach access made every morning feel special.The house also comes with excellent outdoor gear — paddle boards, a two-person kayak, snorkeling equipment, games, and more — which we used daily.What truly sets this stay apart is Scott. He is the best host we’ve ever had. Before arrival, he scheduled a Zoom call to walk us through the home and the island. During our stay, he checked in regularly and responded instantly to any questions. He even arranged a surprise birthday dinner for one of our group at Swain’s Cay Resort. That level of care is rare.Scott’s property manager Randy is also fantastic — a local fishing guide who took us snorkeling and lobster spearing. He embodies the warmth of the Mangrove Cay community. This island is not touristy — it’s quiet, authentic, and off the beaten path. We saw no other tourists, only friendly locals who made us feel at home.This was a top-tier stay in our travels, and we absolutely plan to return. If you’re looking for a true, private"

"The host Alicia was amazing. So, so helpful. The property itself is absolutely amazing. Spotlessly clean, perfect and new appliance and so close to the water you could crawl there. The area is fantastic too. There's a nearby restaurant, a convenience store and theres bike and kayak rental directly across the road. I cannot recommend this place hughly enough!"

"My brother and I stayed at Seaside Getaway for 7 days mainly for proximity to good bone fishing. The location was perfect nice flat right out the front door and other good areas close by. House was comfortable and as advertised. Santisha and all her helpers were very helpful and friendly. We will be back."
