The upgrade was very tasteful. There is a cute coffee shop inside and we loved that there was so wait for check in. My only complaint would be the rooms mirror the outside temperature. The hotel did a really great job of providing plug in heaters and multiple fans already in the room ready to use . It was just unexpectedly cold in our room when we arrived. It even has a coffee shop inside and a little cafe with wifi. Late checkout was a great option to have. It's very close to Pablo's Bike Rentals so you can go for a ride on the Tony Knowles Coastal trail if you like that kind of thing.
