It features a fully equipped kitchenette, dining area, and a cozy seating area with a 55" Samsung Smart TV. A king-size bed awaits in the bedroom. The bathroom features a walk-in shower and radiant in-floor heating. The windows have black-out blinds for a restful night's sleep. Enjoy the convenience of an in-unit washer/dryer and the beauty of your private garden. Rich Fir paneling throughout. Relax in the hottub after a cold winter day. Turnagain is one of the nicest and safest neighborhoods in Anchorage. You'll be a 10 minute walk from Lyn Ary park where the kids can frollick, and the Coastal Trail where you can go for a bike ride or walk along the coast enjoying the water scenery. There is 1 dedicated parking spot in our driveway for the apartment guests. There is also parking on the street, however, snow build up during the winter months can sometimes make this difficult. Please be advised that this unit is in our basement, and with that comes the noise associated with our family upstairs. In general everyone is in bed by 10pm. We just want to provide full disclosure so that you have realistic expectations prior to your arrival. Also, we owe our neighbors their right to quiet enjoyment of their homes in the neighborhood. With this in mind we require a signature agreement regarding guests and parties. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking, or your booking will be cancelled. The terms of the agreement are as follows: 1) Pets are strictly prohibited. 2) I attest that the only people that will be present in the home are the people listed in my booking. 3) I agree that guests are only allowed with prior written permission from the owner. 4) Even with permission, all guests shall leave the premises prior to 10pm. 5) Violation of the above rules are grounds for immediate cancellation of booking, without refund. At that point you will be considered a trespasser and will be escorted off the property by the police. We mean no offense by mandating this agreement, we only hope to protect our property and to be good neighbors. We appreciate your support and cooperation in this effort. The cleanliness and everything was fine. The problem was with the host. The rental is a basement just below the house, and I understand wanting to use extra space to make money. But if you are going to continue cleaning, opening loud creaky doors, and having your kids run all over the place until almost midnight, you shouldn't have a vacation rental below. Also, there is a door connecting the rental to the rest of the house, and a child came down to that door, and suddenly began crying loudly and then ran upstairs, continuing to cry loud enough that we could hear the child, and someone try to console the child. I had been up since 4am the day we checked in, and I chose to get out of bed at 1130 and just drive 3 hours home because the noise was so bad. He said that we might hear their kids in the mornings, but other than a couple of times hearing the pitter patter of little feet was quiet and didnt bother our sleeping at all. I was concerned about the minimalist kitchen but we only needed the microwave and didn't need to use the induction unit. Many times pictures can be deceiving, but not in this case. Actually the pictures don’t do it justice. The apartment was IMMACULATE. There was so much room and the bed was super comfortable. The washing machine and dryer were great and the bathroom was spotless. It is well appointed and Nikole was so sweet and accommodating. It’s located in a very nice neighborhood close to downtown Anchorage. I would highly recommend choosing this apartment for your stay in Anchorage.
