There are many travel guides with recommendations on things to do in Anchorage. Lots of outlets and Internet worked well. The host lives upstairs but the suite is totally private and they were very quiet.Bathroom is well stocked with toiletry basics and even disinfectant. Towels and bathmats were plush, and the bed is on the firmer side, which I like. Did not need temperature control at all; the place remained comfortable for the 50-low 60s weather in late June. The neighborhood is quiet with not many people or cars passing by. 20-30 minute walk to downtown depending on how far you want to go, with bus stops very close by. Great place to stay for our 2.5 days sightseeing in Anchorage! ##### Megan H. The suite was charming and cozy, and was the perfect place to go back to after a busy day. It is just within walking distance of downtown, and the proximity to major roads/highways made it easy to access all of anchorage and beyond by car. It was about a 20 minute walk to the Sydney Laurence Theatre. The property was large, clean and was well stocked. When I went to have a shower in the morning, I noticed there was no shampoo or soap. Owners brought that down after I contacted them. We both use CPAP machines and I needed to crawl behind the bed to use the outlet there in order for mine to reach the far side of the bed.
