Beautifully remodeled studio apartment in a daylight basement with private entrance and mudroom - on a quiet cul-de-sac in Eagle River.

Apartment has been completely remodeled and features a large kitchen with granite countertops, custom shower, granite bathroom vanity, all brand new, full size, stainless steel appliances including a 5 burner stove, refrigerator, above the range microwave, and a washer/dryer all-in-one.

There is a private entrance to the apartment with a good size mudroom. Living space is open concept with great natural light and beautiful views of Cook Inlet and Sleeping Lady. The studio is furnished with a brand new Serta Queen size bed, a love seat, and small dining table.

Everything you need for a great stay! As others have stated in their review, you do hear a lot from the upstairs. So if that kind of noise bothers you, probably not the place for you. The only other minor inconvenience is the pillows are rather lumpy. We loved having a washer/dryer to wash clothes. The kitchen is very well stocked!

Nice

This is a clean and comfortable studio in the lower level of a home. The kitchen is convenient, the bed is comfortable and it has a nice sized bathroom. Amy was quick to reply to any communications. Parking was tricky/tight, but overall this site location was perfect for our trip.

Enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our stay, it is located outside of Anchorage so it was quiet but not too far. We traveled daily and this was a great place to come "home" to each evening. There were plenty of extras as well, from a small cooler for road lunces, to bear spray for those remote trail hikes. Even some spices in the cupboard.

Beautiful studio, bit noisy & chilly

The studio is lovely, with beautiful views and super clean and attractive accommodations. The area is quiet and surrounded by trees, with a nice porch that has 2 chairs for enjoying the view. The studio is near Eagle River Nature Center, which had absolutely gorgeous trails. I had only 2 complaints. The first was the noise of the occupants upstairs, as I could hear footsteps, dog toenails clicking, and conversations (although not content of the conversations). Fortunately our awake hours were fairly compatible so it only affected my sleep when I first got into bed and a pair of earplugs solved that problem. The second complaint was that the studio was chilly as there was no central heat control in it. I messaged the owner and she said that she turned the heat up, which helped some, but in the mornings it was still quite cold. There was a space heater, but it wasn't enough for the size of the space.

Cute Little Studio!

Your Alaskan Adventure awaits pretty much says it all. we had such a wonderful time in Ami’s cabin! She has all the amenities you could ever need and then some. It was beautiful up on the mountain. We would love to come back again sometime.

Great location with a view!

This was a cute little pet friendly studio apartment within 15 mins of Anchorage. There was a circle drive with easy access and parking. We didn’t spend much time there because our stay was short and sweet, but we enjoyed the clean accommodations and clear communication with the owner. We will for sure be back next time we need to stay near Anchorage. Thank you Kim for the amazing last minute stay!

Alaska Vacation Retreat

If you are looking for a nice getaway place to stay in close proximity to Anchorage and surrounding areas this is a wonderful place to stay, The updated kitchen and bathroom were a major plus. Having a full kitchen gave us flexibility to prepare special meals while giving us the flexibility to dine out if desired. The owner of the property was kind, helpful and quick to reply to any questions we had. The sunset views from the large windows were absolutely stunning. This is a gem of a vacation getaway.

Midwestern Anchorage Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was only 20 minutes from downtown Anchorage which was very convenient and it was driveable to several surrounding activities in Palmer, Talkeetna, and Glacier View. Unit was well stocked with basics including coffee, spices, cooking oil, condiments, sandwich bags, etc. The unit was clean and comfortable. It was nice to be able to do laundry. Appreciated the outdoor space watching the sunset (sort of - it was Alaska in July). Location was excellent in a nice quiet area but close to gas, groceries and restaurants.

This was the perfect place to stay to make a lifetime of memories! Our host was great, very friendly and available although we did not need anything. She had thought of it all! We appreciated the little things like bear spray! The laundry was a huge benefit! The location couldn’t be better for day trips north to Talkeetna or south to Seward. Although not in a “tourist” area, the proximity to the hyway and gas, groceries and great restaurants was a huge plus! Thank you!

Close & Comfy

The property was as described. The host was very prompt and friendly in answering any questions we had. There was a great view from the front windows. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and basics like tea and coffee were there for use. Host even offered us her covered parking when she was out of town. We loved it!
