Well maintained, spacious, great view over city and water afar. We like the luxury towels provided in the house and will definitely buy some when we return home. The sunset on the deck was breathtaking! Host Jim and Melanie are very nice, easy talking to. Melanie even showed us her feeding a giant eagle in the morning! Dining was convenient, about 3-4 mile away in nearby shopping center where you can find a quite big groceries store and gas station. We had dinner at Southside Bistro, good food and outstanding service, thanks Jim! The kitchen has a refrigerator with refreshments you can have any time and a big living room with windows all around. The room we stayed in was verrrrrry small, but we were okay. The bed took up almost the entire room (I think it was a full) and there was a desk & tv. The bathroom had a steam shower which was awesome, but we didn’t have time to enjoy it. The shower also had multiple shower heads for a full-body shower. Windows had no screens so we were a little concerned about bugs coming in, but we ended up not really having a problem with it. We accidentally left a pair of shoes under the bed & the owner was so kind & went out of their way to mail them back to us which we really appreciated! There are lots of animals to enjoy including the horses, farm cat, dogs, bald eagle, and meese. The Forget Me Not room was perfect for our honeymoon with jetted tub and jetted/steam dual head shower. The main shared area for two guests had fully equipped kitchen, large TV, big open sun area with lots of seating, large deck, and outside hot tub. The staff was attentive, but did not linger, respecting our privacy.
