Perfect little escape
The property was lovely and the home was just what we needed. Short little drive into town/harbor for easy commuting in the early ferry hours but gave you the feel of peace and scerenity that we look for in properties.

Wonderful Stay!
Everything was great for pur sisters/girls weekend, from atart to finish! Seemless arrival & checkin process. A beautiful, well-appointed home on a quiet street with a lovely view. Close enough to downtown Anacortes shops & dining. We had a wonderful stay & Vicky was a great host, very easy to communicate with.

Nice quiet location
The property is beautiful, spectacular views, easy access to the Anacortes ferry, rental was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Definitely one of the nicest VRBOs we’ve ever stayed at.

Awesome location, everything we needed!
This was an excellent stay, and the communication with Vicky was fantastic. She has thought of everything you may need for your stay, and has made the effort to create a binder with some local recommendations on restaurants, etc. The apartment was very clean and well organized. Great views, lots of privacy, great location close to Deception Pass. I highly recommend this place and would gladly come back anytime!

Lovely place, peaceful location
This is a lovely little place in a wonderful location. Clean, well furnished with some neat amenities. We were gone most of the time as there is so much to do in the surrounding area, but it was such a warm and comfortable place to come back to. Highly recommend.

Great views, great hosts
This was an extremely comfortable place to stay, a real home away from home with wonderful views - especially the sunsets. Vicky and Ole are great hosts and have outfitted the home with everything that you might need for your stay. Easy access to downtown Anacortes, Washington Park, Rosario Beach, and Deception Pass. We look forward to staying there again!

Property was great! Clean and roomy. Kitchen was well stocked. Bottle of wine was a nice touch. Vicky and Ole were superb hosts. Let us know we could check in early and allowed us to check out late due to weather. Will definitely be staying here again!

The perfect place to stay
We absolutely loved our stay in Skagit. The house was just what we needed and the views were beautiful. We were within 20 mins to our family staying on the naval base and had the chance to drive over deceptions pass every day. It was a great trip. Thank you for the accommodations!

In a hotel setting your choice is often between a garden view and an ocean view, here you have both! The property was clean, comfortable and well appointed for travelers. The hosts were welcoming and helpful.

Clean, spacious beautiful property :) the owners were very kind and provided us with what ever we need to prepare our Thanksgiving meal to include fresh herbs from their own personal garden. The beds were very comfortable and the home is super clean. Lots of towels and a well appointed kitchen and outdoor bbq. The fresh flowers and wine were an unexpected and pleasant surprse

Just Wonderful
We were delighted to be so warmly welcomed by Vicky and Ole to their beautiful, clean, and very comfortable place. They clearly want visitors to have a good time. We appreciated all their recommendations. The location was perfect for our walks, especially a favorite at Rosario Beach. Exploring Washington.
What a gem of a VRBO. My purpose was to explore this North Pacific region and also just to unwind and relax. The environment that surrounds this home, from the manicure lawn with its beautiful array of botanical delights, the dancing hummingbirds all around and the stunning views both during the day and the sunsets at night made this an awesome week for me. Beautiful weekend escape
We dropped in for a 2 night stay close to Deception Pass and the water. This location had everything. Close to hiking and waterfront & close enough to enjoy lovely Anacortes restaurant foods if you desire dinner. It was quiet and we enjoyed the space. Planning was easy. Host sent us a lot of information in advance so we knew what to pack. Wifi was excellent! Thank you for sharing! We would love to return again.

Beautiful View Anacortes
We loved our stay at this property. It was the most well appointed VRBO that we've ever stayed at. All staples were stocked, full sets of dishes, pots and pans and silverware. Very very nice. The only suggestion would be to put a king size bed in the master. It's a very large master bedroom and could easily accomodate. Owners are very welcoming.

First Class Property
Among the best HomeAway properties we have ever rented in any country. Location is perfect to explore all of Fidalgo and Whidbey Islands. Numerous good restaurants and at least 5 State Parks are with short drives. Home itself is spacious, well laid out, and has everything we needed. And, a great view over the water. We would rent it again and highly recommend it!

My sister and I had a great stay here! Photos are accurate, the rental unit was very clean, and the hosts (Vicki and Ole) were great and provided a lot of helpful information prior to our trip. Vicki was very communicative ahead of time and was accommodating to our request of an early check-in. Sunsets were amazing every day! Would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular setting and fantastic owner
We stayed a few nights in August and enjoyed stellar sunsets from the front patio. Accommodations are every bit as clean, spacious, and appealing as photos show. Vicky, who lives upstairs, even went out of her way to welcome us with balloons and cake when we arrived on my birthday. Thanks for making it a special occasion Vicky! The only thing that would have made it more comfortable on the warm nights was knowing there were fans in the closet and having a top sheet on the bed. Beds made Danish fashion, which apparently means 2 half width duvets (1 for each person) but no separate top sheet to use alone.

The apartment was immaculate, very well organized and recently updated. All of the appliances were state-of-the-art. Everything we needed was right there. The beds were super comfortable. The property owners were on site and available to answer any questions. Would stay there again if we are ever in Anacortes.

Great space/location
Recently stayed in this home in August with my husband, mother in law and our one year old daughter. Before packing our pack n play to travel with, I had emailed 2 weeks before asking if they had one. They didn't but Vicky ordered one online for the rental so we didnt have to carry ours while traveling. The gesture was so sweet and totally unexpected. The house was very clean and modern. It was the perfect amount of space for us. Great location!

The PERFECT vacation home!
Can’t say enough about Vicky and her beautiful home. No false pretenses; the reviews are accurate. Everything we needed for our (too) short stay in Anacortes. Modern and tastefully decorated with a stocked kitchen and TONS of games, movies, and fun for our 7 and 9-year-old daughters. The view of the water and the breathtaking sunset coupled with our visit from the resident deer and bunnies made our trip complete. If we ever return to Anacortes, we will definitely book this gorgeous home again.

Perfect Anacortes stay
We stayed for three nights in the beautiful, well-kept, and convenient apartment. The owners live upstairs and were the best hosts. Hand picked flowers were on our table. We were given our privacy and it was quiet with a fantastic view. Felt like we lived there. Comfortable beds and roomy apartment. We made our breakfast here every morning with a well-stocked kitchen. Easy 10 minute drive to Anacortes. Took Island Adventures to whale watch and it was perfect! We dined at Anthony’s and the food was terrific, especially the fried oysters. We would definely stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful home! It's wonderfully decorated, comfortable and has everything you need - like being at home! And, the view of the waters, especially of the sunset (on our one clear day) was gorgeous! Our host, Vicky, was also very accommodating and welcoming. She provided great information in advance of our stay about the logistics of their home, but also of the local restaurants, grocery stores, attractions, etc. We highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay in Anacortes
This rental was perfect! VERY clean with everything we needed. Comfortable and roomy with an awesome view. Despite the season, we had such nice weather we never played ping pong, but we did fix meals with ease. Gas grill was a great asset. Short drive into "downtown" Anacortes with a surprising number of good restaurants and cute shops. The owners do live above the rental, but we never saw them, though they kept in touch through texts. Very, very easy to deal with. Stay here if you're visiting Anacortes!!

Thanks for allowing us to stay at your home. One level, spacious living quarters with full kitchen and laundry facilities. We can’t wait to come back and visit here again. Close to lots of God’s beautiful sites, including fishing charters at Highliner Charters. Hosts Vicky and Ole are wonderful host and have a gorgeous property with fantastic views. Great property. Felt like being at home as compared to other places we’ve stayed in the past.
This was a wonderful apartment in a great location. We were able to get around to different places very easily since it was central to many of the attractions. The property owner was upstairs and checked in via email to be sure things were going well and to offer great suggestions on attractions and places to eat. I would highly recommend this property and won’t hesitate to return again when we’re in the area around Anacortes.

My husband and I spent 5 nights here in July and had an awesome stay. The place is so clean and neat I felt like we were the first to ever stay here! Kitchen had everything I needed to cook several meals and beds were super comfy. Vicky and Ole the owners live above and they checked on us and gave us great suggestions on places to go/see in the Anacortes area. We will be back to visit here!!

I have never used VRBO and began a search after a prior booking through a different site canceled a few weeks before our trip . As the adage goes, things happen for a reason and I am really happy the other party canceled. Although it took many hours of searching, I ventured onto VRBO and found this beauty! From the initial contact to our departure, the owners, Vicky and Ole, were absolutely lovely to work with. I had the opportunity to meet Vicky and Ole while I was there and they are incredibly kind. It was nice to know if we needed something that they were available. This trip was one of my first experiences with a residence rental and it was incredibly smooth and relaxing. The home itself is stunning, perched upon a long driveway dotted with trees. It has an amazing view of the water and the sunsets do not disappoint. The residence was immaculately clean and had everything we could need, even a pizza cutter, which was useful for our frozen pizza :-) There were enough dishes, silverware, glasses, etc., so that we did not need to run the dishwasher while we were there, only when we left. The game room included a ping pong table and it was perfect for our family vacation. The location is about 10 minutes from the main town of Anacortes, ideal for our whale watching venture. Deception Pass Bridge is also about 5-10 minutes away. Numerous hiking trails with scenic views are also a short distance away. I would highly recommend a stay at this wonderful home!

Beautiful views and home in the Anacortes, WA area.
We had a very restful stay at this gorgeous Anacortes area home. The cherry trees were in bloom and the water view was wonderful--especially the sunsets! Our hosts provided everything we needed as well. We would definitely recommend this home for future visits.
