Only downside was pool staff was often on their phones or socializing with friends at their own table. Life guard not usually paying attention but didn’t expect at lifeguard at the pool anyways. "

"Very tired hotel, staff were delightful. No spa, certainly not as seen in the photos. Had to listen to two football screens with two different matches going on whilst having supper! Felt more like a truckers stop rather than a luxury spa hotel. Room very fired, in desperate need of renovation and the curtains could do with a wash! Looked like smoking had been permitted for years. "

Exit the front door, and you're immediately surrounded by good restaurants and coffee places. Hotel is an easy 20 minute walk from the bus and train stations.
