You will be within 35 minutes to the Wintergreen resort, and other close by places are Lynchburg, Liberty University, Charlottesville, and 10 minutes from our small town of Amherst. The place you will be staying at is 2.1 miles from the Rt 29.
    There are several hiking places nearby, and the Blue Ridge trail just down the road follows the river and accommodates biking, horse riding and is family friendly.

A very nice clean comfortable well furnished house. Great value for the space on gets. Nothing fancy but everything one needs for a pleasant stay. Not much to do or see in the immediate vicinity but if travels take you to this part of the world it is a good choice. Host was very responsive when I needed to contact.

I absolutely love this quiet rural spot. I felt like I was at home. Super cozy and relaxing. The host is top tier as well. I had to change the date twice, and she was so kind and worked with me. I'll be staying here again if I travel through Amherst again.

Great Getaway

Nice home for a reset up near Lynchburg. Very quiet. The host is super nice and communicated quickly. Two quick heads up if you come in at night the small sign for house number is hard to see and the key pad for the door can be finiky. Two minor issues that wouldn’t stop us from staying again if we travel to the area. Thank you for the hospitality.

Quiet & comfortable

Such a lovely and cozy house. We were in town to visit our college student and this housed all of us perfectly! The kitchen is fully stocked making meal preparation easy. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, there was room for everybody. The beds were all comfortable and the reclining sofas & chair were relaxing after a day of hiking! Plenty of good movies on hand (or bring your own) plus enough channels available if you’re in the mood for some tv watching! Board games & cards are also on hand. Nice yard, with plenty of space for outdoor recreation!! Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!!

Just what we needed. Quiet plain and simple. Light in main bedroom makes a alert sound when you turn it on. Batteries were dead in remote (not big deal). Would definitely books again.

Beautiful and cozy place. We booked this place to visit with our grand-daughters. Host was delightful and very sweet. The keypad to get in was a little wonky but the host has a back up plan that works every time.
