"What we love: right on the beach. Huge rooms.
What we did not appreciate: facility is a 2 star according to western standards (however it’s the best in the area.), cleanilies is ok (there’s a stain on the sheet). We booked a car with front desk - they showed us the hotel car and told us it will be this car, but the second day it was a much worse (very old and uncomfy) car that showed up, they said the hotel car was not available, what a bait and switch! "
"Staff amazing & so friendly. Loved our Superior Beach Room fo 3 nights, above the cafe was so convenient. Food & drinks options very good & tasty. Very good value too. Right on the beach where we enjoyed fabulous snorkeling. So much to see & do in Amed & we will definitely be back & book the same room "
"Our room was overbooked. After a long discussion they wanted to give us our money back....but just netto. We had to discuss again and finally they gave us nearly the price we paid"

Mahagiri Resort Nusa Lembongan
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice, clean resort in a quiet area, still easy walk to a choice of restaurants and shops. Unique pool area with deck chairs on sand around the pool with ocean views. Good buffet breakfast in dining area. Only small faults is hot water pressure in showers and beach in front of resort not ideal for swimming due to shallow water and currents. Otherwise perfect stay!!"
"We had an incredible stay at The Kayon Jungle Resort. The property is tucked into the jungle with gorgeous views and a peaceful vibe, with only 38 rooms and suites. We stayed in a private jungle-view pool suite, and it was everything we hoped for: relaxing, comfortable, and surrounded by nature.
The staff truly made our stay special. Lia was especially kind and attentive when my daughter wasn’t feeling well, and Sapti, Yoga, and Kristna were equally warm and professional. Every team member we met showed genuine care and pride in their work (I asked. It turns out it comes from the top, and it shows). Shout out to our driver, Sandi, as well, for waiting patiently while we explored the Monkey Forest on our way to the next hotel.
The pools are stunning, the design is beautiful, and the whole place feels like a luxurious retreat. The food was excellent across the board, great flavors, generous portions, and beautifully presented. Room service was especially impressive, and we relied on it quite a bit when my daughter wasn’t feeling well.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for something quiet, personal, and authentic near Ubud.
One thing to note: the resort is open to non-guests from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for pool, food, and drinks, but guests get access from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., which was a nice bonus."
"The resort was very clean and well maintained. A serene environment. Beautiful room and private peaceful pool. The sounds of the waterfalls and birds truly kept me grounded.
The staff was exceptional from even before I arrived communication was so great. They were beyond kind and accommodating. I cannot wait to return. "

"We only stayed one night but, the staff were very kind and hospitable. Our room was lovely and very spacious. It is a beautiful resort, the spa treatments and yoga made us feel very relaxed, the breakfast was delicious. it is in a remote location so the road to the hotel is quite an adventure!"
"Great resort, friendly staff. Amazing spa, and good quality food in the restaurants. The only complaints are, gym was a bit small, and pools were not heated. "
"Just want to say a big thank you to everybody at the facility for making our stay such a memorable one.
It was an amazing experience and i would highly recommend "
