Nous avons été reveillés par les coqs, les prières en dehors de tout cela. Le fait de ne pas pouvoir fumer sur le balcon et de devoir sortir de l'hotel n'est pas pratique pour les fumeurs réguliers."

"Quando chegamos ao hotel a recepção estava fechada, assim como o restaurante. Não havia ninguém para nos receber, as pessoas a volta disseram que o dono tinha tido um problema e que viria alguém para nos abrir a porta. A pessoa chegou e informou-nos que iríamos ficar sozinhos no hotel, sem nenhum funcionário nem restaurante como consta nas especificações. Recusamos e agora o hotel recusa a devolução do dinheiro. "

"From the moment I arrived, this hotel exceeded every possible expectation—and then somehow kept going. Everything about my stay was flawless, from the immaculate rooms to the truly breathtaking views that felt like something out of a dream. Waking up each morning to that scenery alone would have been enough, but this place offers so much more. The amenities were absolutely perfect—thoughtfully designed, luxurious without being over-the-top, and maintained to the highest standard. Every detail felt intentional, and it made the entire experience feel seamless and indulgent at the same time. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. I have never encountered a team so warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making guests feel special. Pebe was incredible—so kind, welcoming, and always one step ahead in anticipating needs. Mahender was equally exceptional, bringing professionalism and a personal touch that made every interaction memorable. And the spa staff—wow. Every single person there contributed to an atmosphere of calm, care, and total relaxation. It was easily one of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had. "We had booked our stay at Pearl of Trawangan with the clear understanding that breakfast was included in the room rate. However, the actual experience was quite disappointing and misleading. At the restaurant, the “included breakfast” was limited to just one juice and one main dish per person. While the staff kept emphasizing that this was “free,” it did not feel like a proper included breakfast as typically expected at a hotel of this category. There was no buffet or flexibility, and any additional items were chargeable. Additionally, there was a safety concern during our stay. There was an exposed/open nail outside our room, which could have easily caused injury. When we reported this, the staff did fix it, but the way it was handled made it seem like they were doing us a favor rather than addressing a basic safety issue that should have been proactively managed. This creates a gap between what is advertised during booking and what is actually delivered on-site. When a hotel mentions “breakfast included,” guests generally expect a more comprehensive offering, not a restricted set menu with minimal options. Overall, while the property itself may have its positives, these issues felt misleading and impacted our experience. I would strongly recommend that the hotel clearly communicate the exact breakfast inclusions at the time of booking and ensure basic safety standards are properly maintained to avoid inconvenience to guests."

"Staff were extremely kind and welcoming. We were truly pampered. Top notch. The lodge and grounds were more than we could have hoped for! Our park view room had a superb view! We could hear the elephants exhaling deeply as they were waking up in the morning as if we were having a sleep over! My son loved every moment and didn’t want to leave. Can’t say enough good things. Do not miss this. Best experience on the island in 4 weeks of travel over 2 trips. I would liken the staff service here to staying at Aman resorts - truly pampered."
