Just had 3 nights in Glenmore Cottage (our second visit). The cottage was extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. It is in a quiet area, and the parking behind the cottage is very convenient. It is only a few minutes walk from shops and other amenities. The front garden is a little restful spot to sit out when the sun shines. Ambleside was extremely busy as were many other areas of the Lake District, as people start to come away after lock down, and it was difficult at times to achieve social distancing because of the narrow pavements, small shops and busy traffic. Overall we had a very restful short break and would go back there in the future.
