My price was unbeatable: the reason I stayed, being in a very bad position. The Staff did whatever it could, giving the poor state of the property: It is infested by roaches. Breakfast was very poor, one of the worst I had, in fact I had it only twice: once to try, the second to confirm that it was bad, or to be positively surprised, it was even worse. The air conditioning is from 60 years ago: quite pitiful, either hot or freezing cold. The carpets are filthy: don’t walk barefoot.

I booked a king bed but hotel said Expedia had me down for 2 queens, despite my copy of the itinerary. They would not give me an available king, stating they would have to charge me more (almost double). The AC didn’t work in the room and we had to move to another one at 5:00 am. Run-down, sketchy hotel.

Great place to stay if you are just going through Amarillo. Near everything. The rooms are great for the price. The lobby makes you feel like you are at a 4 star hotel and the rooms are spacious and clean. Definitely Your best bang for your buck.

The staff is very kind. The place is quite infested and dome rooms smell. Carpets and bathrooms are quite old and need a re-do. Their computer does not upload Expedia reservations automatically and every time I extended I was asked to checkout from the room and it took a while to clarify the issue. In fact the last time I extended paying directly at the reception.

My experience was different when I first got to the hotel I was put in a room I did not book at all. It was severely damaged and seemed like someone was living there. The next morning I made it clear to the staff and management of both issues and was immediately put in my correct room that I book. Other than that my stay was a good one. They are going through new management and doing their best at remodeling so I do understand that everything won’t be perfect.

I paid $67 for this hotel, about $40 less than other entry level motels in the area. This place is a little sketchy, but I would stay there again for the value. The bed was comfortable, the ac worked. It was reasonably clean. Any dirtier and I would not stay there. The free breakfast was 5 stars. The hotel attendant cooked fresh eggs, sausage, and hash browns fresh right before my eyes. Very good biscuits and gravy. Astonishingly good breakfast. I was on a solo trip just stoping for the night. It served its purpose well.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Was able to sleep well since things were quiet. Biggest issues were the people dealing drugs in the outside stairwells as well as smoking weed in them. As someone who is severely allergic to even the smoke it made it hard to get down to my vehicle.
