"We had 3 nights at Penina after a week in Vilamoura. We arrived at 1.30pm and were able to check in and use the facilities straightaway. We had a mountain facing room which was fine for a short stay. The buffet restaurant was disappointing - the Mexican food was very bland. "Great friendly staff! The staff everywhere were friendly. Cleaners, people at the bar, restaurant, spa. The only downside i would say is at the spa the turkish bath needs a refurb. Also the gym for them to charge they should really have more equipment there n make it bigger. Paying 5 euros a day when u bought all inclusive is not ideal. Food wasnt great also. It was ok "
