Alpine Super Slide Tours and Activities

The Whitlock provided just the right vibe for a friends fall vacation. We loved the coffee and tea downstairs, and even though the room did not have a fridge, the staff was very helpful about letting us use a community fridge. The rooms were clean and an appropriate size for a cozy vacation. The location couldn’t be beat!

Price is good for the area. The surrounding area isn’t great, located near a bus depot and abandoned factory building. Free parking is a plus. 3rd floor seems to have an issue with their heat/ ac system not working. We checked into the first room and it was 77 degrees in the room and would not go down. The window opens a tiny bit so that helps. Front desk said maintenance would come to check on it, they never did so we requested a new room. New room was given shortly after and had a similar issue. Same thing for towels, requested some more for the room they did not have any behind the front desk, no one ever came with towels, seems to be a miscommunication in reference to front desk and other staff working here. Free breakfast is decent and well stocked. Bed is very worn down and used. If you need something quick to crash for the night I would say this is a good deal for the price, but I would not chose to stay here again. Room did have a fridge which was great.
