Lovely views and apartment
The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need, possibly the only thing missing being some ice cube trays to make ice for drinks. The outdoor space with sun loungers is very private and the pool was nice to cool off in. The views are beautiful and we had some stunning sunsets but this does mean that the apartment is up a very steep, winding hill of about half a mile, possibly more. The walk down the hill is ok and we walked back up once but, even though we are reasonably fit, we couldn’t do it again so had to get taxis but they only cost around 6 euros a trip. I would suggest that the online listing should explain that it is a steep hill as it would be almost impossible for anyone with mobility problems to get down or back without using taxis or having a car. This certainly didn’t affect our enjoyment of the apartment or the area though. Buses run regularly from Almuñécar to various places so it’s easy to get to some of the nearby towns without having to drive. Thank you Flore and Emmanuelle for your hospitality.

lesley, thanks for your long comment nice to read!. But, if you have seen beautiful on the sea and the city it is obvious that the property is high up, and there are well 700 meters to go to the beach of Puerta del Mar. I even recommended use for the car, and especially not suitable for people with reduced mobility Even though my husband is in this handicap situation, he goes up and down the steps at his own pace. come back with pleasure flore

excellent house, stunning view from the terrace. all done with love and taste. well equipped, there is all-washing machine, dishwasher, juicer, coffee maker, excellent grill. Huge thanks to Flore for hospitality. I recommend everyone, I would like to come again.

Gorgeus place
Had a wounderfull stay. The place has an absolutely gorgeus view of Almunecar and the sea. Short walk to to the town and beach. Been to Almunecar several times but this place takes the price for its stunning view. Can absolutely recomand this place.

Ein Traum im Winter
Die Wohnung ist zauberhaft. Sogar die steile Straße war kein Problem für uns, zwei Rentner 72 und 80 Jahre alt. Im Winter ist die Wohnung sehr gemütlich und wir haben die Terrasse sehr genossen. Danke an Emmanuelle und Flore

Supertolle Lage und Aussicht. Die Terrasse ist der Hammer. Wir haben gefühlt 90% unserer Zeit dort verbracht und den fantastischen Blick auf Almunecar und das Meer genossen.

El apartamento es más bonito de lo que se ve en las fotos, hemos aprovechado muy bien la terraza con los peques y cerca de la playa con arena, hay varias que solo tienen piedras. Está cerca de varios supermercados. La persona que nos ha atendido ha sido muy amable.

Wonderful holidays
This sweet tiny house on a hill above Almuñécar is a real gem! The views are priceless. We had a wonderful stay over Christmas and New Year's Eve with sunsets every evening just in front of us above the sea. It's fantastic and we fell in love with the place. It's small but for two people there's all you need and enough space, too, since you'll live outside on the terrasse anyway enjoying Costa Tropical's wonderful mild climate and lots of sun even during winter. Florence (the owner) and Emmanuelle (the local administrator) are very kind and nice people helping with everything they can. Almuñécar is a sweet little city - you overlook from the house - with a lovely old town, a winding pedestrial area, lots of shops, bars and restaurants. There are three big supermarkets (DIA and LIDL at about 2 km from the house, Mercadona at about 4 km) with parkinglots where you can buy all you need. Also there's the "Mercado municipal" in the city's heart with all types of fresh food. What is really great is that you have beaches oriented towards all sunny directions possible. Almuñécar itself has two beaches (south and south-west), Velillia-Taramay - on the other side of the hill where the house is - comes with the third one for morning lovers (eastwards). Besides Almuñécar we visited Salobreña, Motril, La Herradura and Nerja. We missed the mountain villages (which are said to be very lovely as well!) because the weather was too good to leave the coast. :-) Thank you, Florence and Emanuelle! We had a fantastic time and we will be back some day if we may.

Fantastisk udsigt men skuffende indhold.
Sublim beliggenhed. Efter dansk standard er sengen dårlig. Rodet køkkenudstyr. Få håndklæder. Dårlig siddekomfort i sofa. Vi er kede af, at give en så velbeliggende bolig en så middelmådig bedømmelse. Og det ville iøvrigt være nemt og med få økonomiske midler, at opgradere den til en super bolig.

DEUX POITEVINS EN ANDALOUSIE
Appartement très confortable, vue exceptionnelle… Accueil très agréable. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à ALMUNECAR. Un seul bémol, la piscine était remplie de feuilles, c'était désagréable pour se baigner… L'annonce est conforme à la réalité.

quelle vue !!!
nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à Almunecar, l'appartement est très bien agencé et ne manque de rien (sauf peut être un pichet pour la sangria !!!) , la terrasse est très sympa et au calme. quel plaisir de déjeuner face à la mer.

Stadtwohnung mit bester Aussicht.
Der Superlativ "beste Aussicht" trifft es tatsächlich. Es neigt zwar dazu, die Wohnung in den Hintergrund zu schieben - und das hat sie keinesfalls verdient - aber eine Terrasse mit soliden Sitzmöbel, Tisch und ausfahrbarer Markise sind in einem Urlaub Gold wert. Und dann diese Aussicht über die Stadt ... Die Wohnung liegt in einer übersichtlichen, abgeschlossenen Einheit ganz außen, was perfekte Privatsphäre gewährleistet. Das Mietauto steht somit sicher auf dem Gelände. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet (mir fällt spontan nichts ein, was ich vermisst hätte). Die Küche ist mit allen Geräten ausgestattet, die alle auch funktionieren. Das Badezimmer wirkt recht neu und in der Dusche kommt ein gesunder Wasserstrahl mit gleichbleibender Temperatur. Auch die Waschmaschine haben wir einmal getestet - hat ebenfalls funktioniert. Ach ja ... Einen Fernseher gibt es auch. Ob der funktioniert, muss jedoch jemand ausprobieren, der sich Zeit für fernsehen zulasten der guten Aussicht nimmt ;-) Durch die Stadtnähe ist man mit Supermärkten und Restaurant bestens versorgt. Kurz zusammengefasst: Die Wohnung ist optimal für Selbstversorger. Sie ist mit allem notwendigen ausgerüstet, aber nicht überladen. Alles funktioniert und war sauber. Und ... ich habe es ja schon gesagt ... ¡Die Aussicht! ...Ach ...

Never ever again! Appartment has a very big moisture issue!
We had a very unpleasant stay in this appartment. This appartment has serious moisture issues. When entering the appartment we already noticed the strong smell of moisture. The lady who handed over the keys told us that the owners were already (1 year ago) aware of the moisture problems. The bedroom is the worst please to stay. We decided to sleep in the livingroom with our 8 months old baby. After one 1 day all our clothes had a funky moisture smell. For us once but never again!

Sir, I'm sorry you're disappointed in the apartment! But, know that the moisture problem was definitely solved during our last stay in May. There is no more smell because the walls have been treated. Know that you are the only one who dared to put an unpleasant comment. We can't just do everybody!

Een mooi gelegen appartement, met groots zeezicht en ruime terrassen. Modern ingericht en goed geoutilleerd. Vrij dicht bij centrum Almunecar, maar wel via een steile weg.

superbe semaine de vacances
Super vacances et l'appartement y est pour beaucoup avec de très belles prestations et une terrasse magnifique et vue féerique sur la baie d'Almunecar sans aucun vis à vis. L'appartement est très propre et fonctionnel et nous espérons revenir des que possible car nous avons vraiment apprécié ce séjour.
