In the evening, we relaxed in the crystal clean water of the hot tub. The downstairs bed was comfortable and the home was very clean. Close to Bryson City, white water rafting and the national park. It’s quiet, in the woods away from everything and everyone. The weather was amazing the whole time we were there. We loved being able to sit out on the front porch and listen to the nature around us, smell the fresh air, see the humming birds and watch the lightning bugs at night. This was mine and my husband’s first real vacation! Life always got in the way before. Shelby, the host was absolutely amazing! She communicated with us before our trip even started( again life was starting to got in the way) we almost had to cancel our trip. But she was very understanding, accommodating and patient me, us. The kids had a great time playing in the little creek by the house, walking down to see the lake, playing games and they enjoyed the hot tube. We didn’t want to leave. We highly recommend “Firefly Lane” if you want to relax and get away from it all! When we decided to take another vacation to this area we would definitely love to stay here again. We took a spring break vacation and we could not have been happier with this home. The girls loved roaming around the property as much as hiking trails to waterfalls. About 20 minutes from Bryson City where you can visit all of the mountain excursions. There was a creek running through the property. My favorite part of the cottage was the bed swing on the front porch. We would sit there at night and listen to all of the bature sounds and the babbling of the creek. Wifi with multiple televisions so keep you entertained. A beauitful big kitchen with everything youd need to cook. Comfy couches and multiple sleeping areas. The stay was nice and the host was even better. Very eager to help and make sure we were taken care of on our trip. 10 stars! ##### Bridgette T. My husband and I enjoyed the calm, quiet atmosphere and the location convenient to hiking and other outdoor activities. Close enough to Bryson City to enjoy what the town has to offer. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and relax this is the perfect place. There is a fire pit along the stream and a hot tub on the deck. Looks like there were 2 other tiny houses on the same property but they are far enough away that you don’t really see the other guests or you could rent all 3 places if you wanted to have multiple families. ##### Stacy C. This was a great location for visiting Bryson city. It wasn't too far off the main road, but far enough away to be very peaceful. The cottage was clean and quaint.
