  • Newly remodeled 3-bedroom home located near the quiet village of Alexandria. Only a 30-minute drive from Columbus, and a short 10-minute drive from Granville (home of Denison University), this home is the perfect weekend family getaway. Perfectly situated only 5 miles away from the new Intel site.

    Featuring a private patio with a hot tub, an outdoor dining area, lounge chairs and a fire pit (wood provided), our space is private and welcoming for families and friends to gather and create memories together.

    The covered front porch features outdoor furniture with lighting and ceiling fans, and beatufiul views of our 1-acre pond that is situated on the property.

    Newly finished hard-wood floors, stylish furniture, and 3 queen-size beds make this cozy oaisis the perfect weekend or extended stay getaway for friends of families.

    Ther are 2 tvs that are connected to the wifi featuring installed apps to use for your enjoyment including: Netflix, Prime, Peacok, YouTube TV and more. Guests login with their own accounts to view content.

    The kitchen has everything you would need to prepare and share meals together: Whirlpool applicances including an electric stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher. Cookware, pyrex, blender, salad spinner and a even tortilla warmer are available to make your culinary weekend come true :)

    SAFETY & SECURITY:
    Outdoor camera montiors the parking area and patio area. The patio is within the coverage area of the device.
    Doorbell camera monitors the front porch entry.

    For your safety and privacy, there are no electronic monitoring devices located inside the property.

    Within walking distance:
    In the heart of Alexndria is a coffee shop: Ragamuffins serving up fresh coffee, pastries and breakfast sausages.

    The Hawk's Nest is a marathon gas station body shop converted into a bar and restaurant with 23 beers on tap and great bar food. You can still get gas there too :).

    Only about a 10 minute drive away is the village of Granville, home to Denison University. There you'll find lots of shops and some great restaraunts including Three Tigers Brewing (brew pub serving Viatnamese and American), The Broadway Pub (American), Day y Noche (Mexican), plus more.

Very nice "woodsy" property with lots of wildlife in the area. Spacious and plenty of sleeping space as well. Very easy to bring a dog and enjoy the space.

Great place that feels very private and secluded but is very close to the main street of the town. very peaceful and nice tidy house. great place so that my dogs could come with me. would definitely stay again.

Had a quiet, quick stay and beautiful little house! The outside could have been a little more cleaned up, I stepped on a lot of burrs around the hot tub area.

Great location

We were able to get checked in easily and the property was gorgeous. There was a local grocery store nearby and we were able to make dinner there after spending the day in nearby Columbus. Excellent for couples and families!

Great little spot

The home was situated in a quiet location. Everything was very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the evening as well. Thank you for allowing us to stay! Would stay here again when in the area.

Absolutely amazing...

This was the most amazing, cozy, and clean place ever. My kids had a blast and loved every minute of it there. The host was absolutely perfect and accommodated every need we had. Will definitely stay again soon!!

Wonderful stay!

Property had everything needed for an overnight stay for our trip! It was a relaxing spot on a dead end street overlooking a pond. The pups loved being able to run around in the large yard. The house is clean and decorated nicely!

Hidden gem

We really liked this home and the owners flexibility when scheduling. The place is decorated very cute, and they have a stocked kitchen with everything you would need. We loved the hot tub and the outdoor space. We also liked how close Granville was to the property so we could go for dinner and live music. We would stay again!

The perfect little getaway! My father passed suddenly and we had to drive in from 9 hours away. Our first VRBO was NOT as expected and an awful experience; in a terrible part of town. We were exhausted, had a car full of groceries and I searched for last minute openings. The owner here responded quickly and had the place ready for us. We needed this! completely tucked away, quiet, the huge pond, hot tub, cozy house — it was PERFECT. Will be my work/writing retreat spot moving forward. Could not be more thankful for the owner and this little Ohio gem. I miss everything about growing up in Ohio Springs and Falls —this brought back so many memories during a week when I needed them the most.
