The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and being in the beautiful countryside with the goats was a special treat for the kids.

Very disappointed
The room key machine didn’t work so we did not have a room key our entire stay. While this isn’t their fault we needed to wait for the front counter to let us in each time. There was no price reduction nor accommodation. Their pool/spa doesn’t even have towels nor robes som I’m not sure why we were forced to pay $25pp for the spa. Not worth it.

Worst hotel ever
This hotel is very misleading. It says 4 stars but the only reason must be because of the location and the view. Service was horrible I stay in hotels about 10 to 15 days a month. And in this area where we own a factory we always stay at the same hotel. But this time decided to try this hotel. Worst decision ever. Horrible service horrible food.

Optou por fazer refeição snacks no nosso Bar, tendo no momento manifestado estar tudo bem. Book the Crib in advance
We arrived just before dinner (19:30) and the hotel seemed understaffed. I had to insist that I needed a crib in the room and the only person on premises kept saying that the maintnance staff was already gone for the day and it would be difficult for her to arrange the crib and that we should have booked the crib earlier... as far as I know I can book a night in this hotel a few minutes before I arrive in hotels.com so I don't understand the requirement.

Pleasantly surprised.
Was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. My husband and I love staying there. We had BBQ dinner at the hotel both nights as well as the couple massage therapy. The free breakfast was also good. We also liked the spa area and the outdoor pool. We would highly recommend this place. Make sure to book your massage treatment in advance.

One for quiet seclusion
We stayed on Weds April 19th for one night. The hotel and grounds are absolutely great and if you're look for a spa break in a secluded spot it's perfect. However for us when we were there it was just TOO quiet !!! And it's really difficult to review because we didn't see it to its potential. We think there were only possibly 4 or 5 rooms occupied when we were there. We'd arrived after a long day and didn't want to go out to look for food or drink (in fact the nearest town is about a 2 mile drive away) - so we had already decided to eat in. However because the hotel had few guests the restaurant was not open. Bar snacks were available - an unusual mix ranging from a couple of main meals (Steak Portugese Style) to meat and cheese platter to toast and jam. We were the only ones in the bar (which closed at 10pm) and the lady on the bar was lovely but seemed to be multi-tasking. Breakfast was similar in that it was 'nearly there' but not quite - and again we felt because there were so few guests when we stayed that the hotel couldn't provide the full service they yearn for. If the hotel reads this then please don't take any of this as a criticism - as mentioned the rooms, pools, public areas are perfect - it's just with so few guests (and staff) that night it's so difficult for us to review more positively. We really hope that our stay was the exception - it's a lovely place with bags of potential - that night it was just waiting for more guests to make the place come alive.

It's a really beautiful hotel. Great common areas. Indoor and outdoor pools are a must!! Wonderful reading room. Sleeping room a bit to small and basic bit ok..

Ideal visita monasterios
Viaje en familia. Nos alojamos en una villa. Son cómodas, pero cuidado con posición del sol, te despierta de mañana. Menaje completo menos plancha. Instalaciones generales y amabilidad muy buenas.

het restaurant was dicht en het inchecken duurde heel lang omdat de kamer door omstandigheden niet klaar was. Dit maakten ze wel goed door een upgrade naar een andere kamer te geven.

Bel hôtel, bien équipé, très agréable
Très bel hôtel, propre et entretenu. Les chambres sont lumineuses et grandes. salle de bail agréable avec grande baignoire. La piscine intérieure ouverte jusqu'à 23h est top, parfaite pour se détendre après une journée de travail. Pour mon prochain voyage, je retournerai dans cet hôtel

Homem muito bom, precisa de mais Staff.
Apesar do Staff ser muito simpático e atencioso, têm claramente falta de Staff.. no pequeno almoço houve tempos de espera porque estava apenas uma pessoa a servir, quando precisamos de alguma coisa da recepção era muito difícil atenderem porque só tinham la uma pessoa.

Assim que entramos no hotel cheira a desinfetado. Cama muito grande e muitp confortável, quarto um pouco pequeno. Fomos 2 vezes a piscina exterior e sempre tivemos a piscina praticamente só para nós, alias na piscina connosco o máximo foi mais uma pessoa la dentro. Nunca nos cruzamos com muitas pessoas nas areas comuns. A massagem de pedras quentes foi optima e muito relaxante. A internet foi a melhor internet que ja apanhei em hotéis, muito rápida e sem falhas. No geral, tudo muito bom. O único ponto negativo, o pequeno almoço tem pouca variedade para um hotel de 4 estrelas, mas tudo o que comemos tinha boa qualidade.

Durante a estadia não houve serviço de restaurante. Sendo o hotel fora da zona urbana de Alcobaça foi desagradável sair à noite, com chuva, para procurar um restaurante. A internet sem fios tem um sinal muito fraco.

Excelente lugar para relaxar
O hotel apresenta uma vista sobre o campo verde e montes que despertam uma tranquilidade. O quarto tem uma decoraçao simples e cuidada e uma excelente limpeza. Uma cama enorme e muito comfortavel. O pequeno almoço era completo e saboroso e o bar está numa óptima zona do hotel. A piscina apresenta um espaço muito cuidado com um horario alargado até às 23h. Foi uma óptima estadia.
