The compressor can easily freeze causing damage or HOT air to blow in. The complex is regularly treated with non-toxic pest repellent. Still, this property is located in a historic neighborhood in the desert. Bugs are a part of life here in the southwest and unfortunately the mice try to sneak inside when the weather turns cold. While we make every effort to stay on top of pest control and keep the apartments spotless for guests, we cannot completely control nature and therefore you may see the occasional bug. We feel perfectly safe walking around Old Town both day and night, just sticking to the immediate blocks around the plaza, and around Rio Grande Blvd. Going from Central towards Downtown does have some isolated stretches so it is recommended to use common safety sense as you would in any big city. May 24, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy #### Mother day weekend I live in Texas now, so I came to Albuquerque to visit my disabled mom for Mother’s Day and her birthday! This apt was just the right amount of space for the girls and I. The only down side was it is upstairs so we did have to make several trips up and down the stairs for our belongings . But we were quite cozy and happy with our stay. Oh I gave less stars for location just because the parking and getting to the apt was a bit of a hassle but I would book again. It was not a luxurious stay but adequate. The neighborhood was an interesting mix of economically depressed and semi-affluent. It is right across the street from Old Town which is a bonus.
