The room smelled like pepperoni pizza when I entered. The light up over the bed was broken and dirty (not a place you want dirt -- over your head at night), the sofa was torn and stained, the wallpaper was peeling off in both bathrooms, next to the shower the bathroom hook was attached to the wall with sticky, so when the wallpaper sags, so does the hook, the backside of the desk area was cracked and broken, the shower had a bad crack that was not properly repaired, the full length mirror had been broken and poorly repaired, and even one of the tables in the breakfast room had warped formica on top. You'd think the manager would notice, and Marriott would care enough to want to keep their property up -- but all the repairs I saw were absolutely slap-dash. It doesn't help that at check-in they didn't notice I had booked the room on Expedia, so they charged my credit card for a room that was prepaid.
Overall, way too many eeuuu-yucky things wrong.
