Breakfast area was underwhelming….offerings were very mediocre……I count on cold cereal….zilch. Decent coffee….nope. Towels were the thinness of kitchen drying towels. Parking area was good.

My son and I needed an overnight stay in North Canton, and this hotel met our needs. The room was no-frills, and the breakfast options were limited, but they filled our bellies. The room was clean, parking was easy, and staff were kind.

room had a weird smell when we first got in. sprayed some stuff and left, came back and smell was gone thankfully. would be nice if they had eggs/meat as an option with breakfast but other than that it was a good stay!

The facility is supposed to be smoke-free but the first room they tried to give us smelled like stale smoke. The room got switched out. There was some attitude about whether we wanted to go to a different hotel, but we travelled from out of country and it was almost 10pm. In the end we got a smoke-free room.

The hotel is renovating rooms, so there is some visible construction material, but we stayed in one of the updated rooms and it looked and was AMAZING! Totally worth the money By all the main shopping and restaurants, but tucked away from the traffic. We go to alliance at least twice a year and will stay here from now on.

We stay there at the end of our trip to Maine. Was going to see the football Hall of Fame it was very close to it. Out of all the hotels that we stayed at on our trip this one was the very best and cleanest. During in the middle of renovating all the rooms. A very excellent choice for the price that you pay for night. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good too.

First of all, I rarely write reviews, but I have made an exception this time in order to help anyone deciding to stay at this Microtel in North Canton, Ohio. My wife and I are in our 70's and we chose this hotel because it was close to Sluggers and Putters Amusement Park. While checking in at the hotel, my wife (jokingly) said to the clerk "We are taking a vacation from our dogs." The clerk rudely responded "No pets are ALLOWED". After we got that misunderstanding cleared up, it took way too long to get our PRE-PAID room assigned to us. The elevator was scary, old and dirty. The 3'rd floor hallway also needed vacuumed. Our room was clean, however, room 303 is on the side of the hotel next to the noisy interstate. We got very little sleep. We were paid for 2 nights, but didn't stay the 2'nd night because of the noise. This is my honest experience. Hope it is helpful.
