This beautiful 1950’s Mid-Century modern home is located right off Route 8 in the active North Hill neighborhood of Akron, within an easy commute to Cuyahoga Falls, Akron, and even Cleveland, Youngstown and Canton! Plenty of surrounding parks, ball field complexes, trails, shopping, restaurants, night life, minor league baseball, concerts, and more! This reservation includes use of one bedroom on the first floor with a with a queen-sized bed. Use of the relaxing living room on main floor with loveseat, sofa, & 50" Smart TV, adjacent to the fully stocked kitchen. The entire 2nd floor, additional bedroom on the first floor, and garage will not be accessible with this reservation unless prior arrangements are made. Some Highlights: • Thermostat with local control • Central air conditioning • Self-Check Keyless locks on both entry doors • High Speed Wifi • Smart TVs - 24", & 50" Parking: \- Driveway parking for up to two cars, additional parking available on streets in front or on side of house. \- One car garage access, with remote, is available for Guests for an additional fee. Please mention your interest in garage usage directly with us. \- No parking or driving on the grass. \- PLEASE NOTE - This reservation does not include use of the garage. While we certainly understand you may have visitors during reasonable hours, however gatherings beyond that, either planned or spontaneous, are explicitly not allowed. Violation of this house rule is also a violation of platform terms and will cause your stay to be canceled immediately, will be cause for recouping damages to the property and a minimum $500 fine. At times, events such as weather, holidays, staffing, etc... or other events out of our control can impact their pickup schedule We will stop by over the weekend to move carts to the curb and return afterwards to retrieve them. Feel free to place items in the carts while they are on the curb. There are TWO waste carts located against the house by the driveway: \= The larger wheeled cart is for regular household trash. There are extra trash bags located under the kitchen sink. PLEASE TIE trash bags closed PRIOR to placing in the outside cart. Loose food remnants and liquids in the cart will attract rodents, bees, flies, and maggots, not to mention - smell very badly if pickup doesn't come for a few days. \= The smaller wheeled cart is marked for RECYCLE ONLY. The City of Akron requires that boxes be flattened and bottles/containers emptied. Used food containers must have all food remnants removed. Please DO NOT put regular household trash into the recycle bin or place any items inside other bags. The property was centrally located to several of the attractions which interested us and just a short drive from many interstate roads in Akron. We found the rental to be exactly as pictured and it was quite comfortable. The electric fireplace and a small lamp were turned on for our arrival and the exterior lighting was automatic and much appreciated for our after dark return to the property. The host was very attentive and offered many suggestions for area activities and dining options. Kitchen was well stocked and also had a nice selection of coffees and teas. This was not our first time renting a VRBO. Jack is a great host with no complaints from us. His house was not only homie feeling/comfortable to stay in, but Jack thought of everything supplies-wise, even down to individual toothbrushes and floss. We were given several suggestions on where to eat and entertainment, which was nice to not have to google alot of stuff. Our first night we ate at Luigi's, they are delicious and would eat there again if we make it back. Thank you again Jack for the enjoyable stay in your home! If we make it back to Akron, we will be staying in your house again! ##### Richard P. Comfortable, small but perfect for the two of us. Great restaurants a few minutes away Definitely try Freds for breakfast and Luigi's for italian. Route 8 is a block away. The accommodation was perfectly suited to our stay. All the necessities were accounted for and in splendid state. So nice to be amongst the locals in Akron instead of a highly touristically area. The house was clean, comfortable and nice to be in. The bed slept very well and the living room made the rainy day easy to overcome, with al little help from HBO. After a very small hiccup checking in, we were able to reach Jack immediately and he helped us out! The mattress was wonderful!! So often the mattresses are like rocks, this one was so comfortable.
