Enjoy our very roomy, 1,500 sq. ft. lake level private guest suite, in our owner occupied home.
Watch boats, canoes, kayaks and fishermen float by while enjoying our water level patio. Our 2 bedroom (2nd BR made available as needed when booking more than 2 guests), 2 baths, fireplace, large foyer used as 3rd BR, living room, and fully stocked kitchen all with water view and walkout patio. Laundry, WiFi, local TV and Roku, pontoon rental for a water visit to lake restaurants and bars. Fishing on 230' sea wall with fishing equipment provided

-MAXIMUM 2 DOGS ALLOWED $25 fee extra for cleaning + $100 REFUNDABLE PET DAMAGE DEPOSIT.
-Check in is 4PM, check out is 11AM - flexible
-Help reduce plastic pollution. We provide ZeroWater filter which removes 99.6% of dissolved solids. Or, we will provide water from our reverse osmosis system.

Perfect spot for peace and an eclipse
We traveled to Ohio to see the total eclipse and catch an Akron RubberDucks game. This was a perfect spot for both. Convenient, clean, comfortable, quiet and SPACIOUS! We just relaxed. We would 100% stay here again and again if we ever return to the area.

Nice family unit in the basement.
Stayed for just a few nights with our Labrador. Neighborhood is quiet walkable with 25 mph side streets. Upon entry into the unit you are at small landing at top of stairs, we decided we would clean the dogs paws in the garage then enter the unit, as more space. Nice patio entry from kitchen to the backyard. You can hear the owners walking around upstairs occasionally, not a huge problem just took our hyperalert dog some time to get used to. Cleanliness was good, their were some dead bugs but I would anticipate they would get cleaned during deep spring cleaning. We didn't have to clean anything to make our stay enjoyable. Enjoyed the Zero filter water for the well water.

This is everything they say, and more!
Our stay with David and Marty was our best short term rental ever. Everything they promised was there, plus lots of nice surprises like the delicious cookies they sent to us. We were grieving the loss of a loved one and David and Marty did everything they could to make us, and our visitors, feel at home.

Beautiful property that is quiet and secluded. All the little extras made our stay very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We visited several great wineries and restaurants close by. I hope to visit again next year!!!

Impressive place on the lake.
David and Marty are excellent hosts. They let us arrive early and said we could stay an hour later. The apartment was very spacious and clean. The back yard was nice and we had a fire pit to ourselves. We brought our dog and he was able to stay in the apartment while we kayaked and went out to dinner. The house is in a great location. We took walks and got to see a turtle and a deer. Just down the road was a public yacht club, we didn't stop in but it looked very nice. Many bars and restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. Definitely would stay again. Thank you both for being so accommodating to us!

Ohio Senior Open at Firestone CC
Perfect place for us to stay during our golf at Firestone.Super friendly owners, clean, quiet and in a beautiful neighborhood. Always our #1 choice when coming to Akron area.
