The hotel is beyond charming and the pictures honestly don’t do it justice. The town of Ainhoa is small but delightful and the hotel itself is exceptional. The rooms are lovely, clean and include all amenities one could desire (including and especially air-conditioning). The staff is friendly, polite and most helpful. A restaurant (Michelin starred!) and cafe are located on site. We took advantage of the very reasonable fixed price menu and enjoyed an incredible dinner in a truly magical setting. The grounds are lovely as well with a pool that we were unfortunately not able to take advantage of because there’s just too much to see and do in the Pays Basque!! Well located hotel for a short stay in the Pyrenees. The Restaurant has a Michelin starred restaurant, and although there is a bistro, it is only open in the evening which is a shame as if staying for more than one night, you do not necessarily want to eat a full meal all the time.
