I needed some washing doing when we arrived which Manjay (manager) sorted and was at hand for anything else needed. Nearly all of them are built anew at the beginning of the tourist season and dismantled in April or May before the summer monsoon hits. The torrential rain and high water of these storms would likely tear them apart otherwise, and Goa's government wants to keep the hotels here small-scale and simple.
