"This is definite faded grandeur. The ground floor looks and feels beautiful but the rest of the hotel is tatty - not helped by a lack of cleaning In some of the common parts. Staff were slightly taciturn, but we went out of season and they might have been busy doing other things. The location though is fantastic and, crucially, there is a good breakfast! This hotel could be so much better with some love. As it is, it is over priced."

"Very clean, room spacious, nice facilities, very good breakfast, the omelette and pancakes made at the moment amazing. Locations is also good, you can get to Coral bay by bus, very nice beach. Warm indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. I would definitely stay again. Downsides: Lots of kids that disrupt the tranquility, even inside the sauna and steam , that shouldn’t be allowed."

"Everything stood out, the hotel was clean fresh, friendly. The staff were always available and visible. They helped with any requests from booking cabs, to recommending places to visits and salons. I needed a hairdresser and they got one to come to the hotel. The amenities were really good, spa, indoor pool, outside pool, beach, restaurant. I had a hot tub I. My room which was maintained everyday. Cannot fault the stay at all."

"Rude staff, not accommodating. Room service is awful. NOISY hotel. Next to the lift, so can hear it every ten seconds. They had drilling going on till 2am - the mirror in bathroom was shaking with the drilling. The cleaner knocked on the door at 8am when checkout is 12\. Crappy sleep, old dated room. Tv volume goes up and down on its own. Sink right infront on toilet. No space. Waste of a night. They need to upgrade their rooms. Worst hotel experience."
