Beautiful property; great service

"This is a brand new building (I believe it opened a year ago) located in the Marina district across the river from Rabat. It was very quiet because of Ramadan so the property seemed to have very few guests. However; it was fully staffed and the restaurants were open as normal. We had great Peruvian food on the first night and breakfast in a beautiful Moroccan themed restaurant the next morning. We were greeted personally by both the night manager the night we arrived and the general manager the morning of our departure. If you ask hotel staff where anything is (bathroom etc) they don’t point you in the direction, they actually stop what they are doing and personally walk you there. Our room was spacious with two queen beds and a sitting area with a side view of the ocean. "

A great place to stay in Rabat

"I enjoyed my bedroom a lot, it was clean, comfortable and quiet with a lovely view. Breakfast was five over all, I would appreciate some fresh fruits and more natural juices. A very convenient location, a few minutes away from Rabat Ville train station, regular restaurants for reasonable priced and good quality food, also a short walk to the central market, the medina and about 25 mins in foot to the khazba. I would return to it!"

"Lovely hotel with a brand promoting environmental awareness. The downside to this is the restaurant is French which couldn’t be further from being environmentally conscious with things like eggs in guacamole and milk in hummus. So meat and cheese and dairy heavy is so bad for the environment. Your staff headed up by Malaki F&B manager are delightful and so genuinely happy to be of assistance and treated us exceptionally. I have their names somewhere but can’t place it I’m sorry. The breakfast chef Islamic lady was also excellent. The food in the Asian restaurant is delicious and the head chef and one shaved head waiter were a delight. The manager and man with a cane need to be much more attention to customers instead of constantly moving tables around. It was distracting. The gentleman who checked us in and helped us find a doctor on a Sunday was so helpful and kind. It was his level of customer service and Malaki and his teams level of customer service that will make us book with the Marriott brand in the future. They are all to be commended. "

"The room was clean and spacious. It is a fairly convenient location to the tram and main roads to grab a taxi. The furniture (like the dressing cabinet) is a bit wobbly. If you book with Expedia, make sure you are clear about what is covered and what you paid ahead. When we got there, we were asked to pay an extra hotel fee that was not mentioned anywhere in their pricing. They said it is like a city/property fee that we had to pay per day and per person (including kids - and we learned that kids below 18 should not pay it)"

Decent place for the price.

"Decent place for the price. Nothing fancy, but good value for a few nights stay. Luckily I was given a pretty large room as other rooms are much smaller, but they looked nice. There was an issue with the air conditioning not working properly, so it got kind of hot and I had to open the balcony room and leave it open day and night. Also, the shower fixture was not the best with pretty low water flow and not enough towels. But, overall it wasn’t bad for the price and the staff was helpful wherever needed. "
