I know a lot of these reviews on here are lies from experience but this private basement is the real deal. It’s an actual 5 star. Host was super kind and I could get in touch with him at all times. Basement was super clean and this stay is in walking distance from a gas station supermarket and lots more. Had an amazing time definitely booking again.

Overall, this was a good deal for the price. The entry is not easily accessible for anyone who uses a wheelchair or requires assistance in walking. As others described, there is a sloped lawn from the parking spot to the gated back yard. The bed was comfortable. There was a Keurig with a few K cups provided. The bathroom was small. Although Wi-Fi was available, it would not connect after numerous attempts even after confirming the password was correct with the property owner/manager. I finally gave up trying. There were some minor cosmetic flaws that could be remedied but otherwise, not a bad stay.

The space was beautiful! Everything was very neat, tidy, and smelled so fresh. It was perfect for my boyfriend and I since we just needed some place to crash while we were in town. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was also really nice walking into a pretty garden to get to the private entrance. Check in and out was super easy. A few notes were just that there isn’t a sidewalk or path to get to the backyard, so walking over wet grass with rolling suitcases was a bit of a struggle. You can also hear movement and voices from upstairs pretty easily. And we wished there was a way to refill our waters other than the bathroom sink. We are very grateful to have stayed here though, and would definitely return. Thank you!

Exactly what we needed

My spouse and I were in the area for a wedding and didn't need a whole lot of extra amenities. This listing had exactly what we needed. A bed, bathroom with a full sized shower. It also came with a mini-fridge and a keurig.

Nice room with private bath and lovely yard. Host was an absolute gentleman. Grandson was a spontaneous decision...bed was a bit overcrowded. My fault--leave it at 2 people.

Kind and responsive host, but unclean property

Check in was easy and the host was very understanding of us needing to come past normal check in hours. I would give the host 4-5 stars, but I cannot say the same for the property. There were stains on the comforter and sheets, and lots of hairs and dust/dirt in the shower..also the fridge didn’t have anything in it. It was easy to find, parking was simple, and I appreciated that the host messaged us to check in. I know this is a new listing, so I want to be understanding and kind, but we were fairly disappointed with the cleanliness and the fact that there is no tv.
