"After speaking directly with the owner Ahmad of the flat to confirm the reservation, my family and i went the next morning to Alexandria and met with the property manager Mohamed who was extremely professional and curtious ,made sure our accommodation was handled properly. "The good stuff - the host met us as we arrived; focused on the beauty so we did not see the bad parts til later (our fault); amazing balcony view of the Mediterranean and footpath to the water; floors and bathrooms were reasonably clean; family-friendly beach nearby where umbrellas and chairs could be rented The bad - multiple windows were cracked, broken furniture legs, countertops dusty and greasy, clean but stained linens, no toilet paper provided.
