The room was spacious and quiet. The staff were friendly and polite. Dinner was good, breakfast was disappointing. My husband ordered smashed avocado on toast with bacon and poached egg. There was virtually no avocado on toast. The waitress was lovely and removed it from our bill. Was disappointing though.

The locality was very good, the room was quiet, clean & tidy, on arrival was greeted & treated very well, evening meal & service was very good, Continental breakfast was limited though, no fruit & yogurt available on the 2nd morning, & fruit juice not topped up, check out at end of stay was quick & easy, a very pleasant stay, would recommend staying.

Staff at the restaurant were brilliant 👏 Very polite, very helpful and couldn't do more for you. Restaurant was good, quick to bring food out and good quality food. Hotel itself could do with a lick of paint. Air-conditioning kept turning off and didnt feel very cold. Also we had to keep going over to the restaurant to collect teabags and coffee etc. Could do with having something in the hotel itself to distribute them out. Other than that, great stay and will be coming back

The staff that were there were good, however there was not a enough staff to provide an excellent service e.g. one member of staff on breakfast rota trying to service 20 customers is not on.

Clean room , ample facilities and although minimal storage, its adequate for a few days. Breakfast at the pub next door was poor: dried out bacon , mushroom and black pudding; the pot of beans was too hot to touch. Only instant coffee on offer (unclear if proper coffee could be requested and would it be included in cost). Great croissants.

Staff excellent, facilities very good, food very good area brilliant. What I did not like is being given a small room when I had children and had to squeeze a small bed for two of my children, hence I expected a bit of compassion from management since I am a regular customer. Also this last visit I referred my friends coz I know the place is good and staff helpful even though this time they did not manage to help the best we expected. Otherwise I will visit again as always.
