"My room was cold and austere. I read some reviews that complained about this. Of course, that is the historic setting for this hotel. It was a Catholic seminary and boarding school. So cold and austere is what it was supposed to be. If you were looking for room service and a full spa, this will not be the place for you. With that said, the bed was comfortable. My room was clean. The staff was friendly. The surroundings were lovely. And there is a mystique about staying in a historic building...

"Fantastic resort to stay in, rooms lovely with very comfy beds and cleaned every day. We stayed for 5 nights the bistro food was lovely we never ate in the restaurant but it did look nice. The spa area was great lovely pool and sauna, gym available but slightly disappointed as it didn’t have a running machine. Robes and towels are available at reception however every time I asked for a robe none were available apparently this was due to the laundry service which the hotel used. Not a problem...

Room only one socket. \did not trust the shower - only one for 10 rooms. The shower also is the toilet. "Pleasantly surprised. Very good location. 500M from the cathedral and old town. There is parking, but you need to book it in advance. We parked a block away as we didn’t know. Staff were very friendly. No safe in room, Only thing that would have made this place even better. Breakfast was delicious. "
